Hi dear Hivers in Pinmapple community, join me with my hunting trip for ripe rice season in Ngok Linh today. The time of July every year is the ideal time to hunt for ripe rice in Ngok Linh valley. Although the road to get there is a bit arduous, but I can assure you that the reward is totally worth it.
To reach Ngok Linh valley, we can follow two roads. Firstly, you can go from Kon Tum city to Dak To, across Tu Mo Rong. This route lasts about 115km. And the second way is from Mang Den town with a distance of about 110km.
Ngok Linh is still a little-known land and has unspoiled beauty, so the way to it is quite difficult. Many sections of the road are corroded and damaged. I had to drive through 5 streams during the journey. You need a 2 wheeler to overcome all these arduous roads.
Despite the arduous journey, the scenery on both sides of the road is beautiful. The fields stretch seemingly endlessly. With hard work, the people here have created masterpieces of rugged terrain. I was really overwhelmed by the beauty of the terraced rice fields here. Beautiful valleys nestled between majestic mountains are waiting for you to be discovered. And the villages of the Xo Dang ethnic minority people still retain their pristine beauty.
As soon as I set foot on Ngok Linh mountain, I felt the difference. Cool and fresh air pervades everywhere. Located at an altitude of about 1600m above sea level. Ngok Linh valley has a cool climate all year round and fresh air. You will hear nothing but the sound of wind, running water and birds when coming here. I was there early in the morning, and I was feeling extremely refreshed. The aroma of rice and grass blends together to form a very fragrant scent.
The people here make their living mainly by growing rice. And with mostly mountainous terrain, they farmed on terraces to reduce erosion. They cultivate mainly by hand, and each year they grow only one rice crop. For them, that was enough rice for a year.
At this time of year, when you have the opportunity to come here, you will find a very busy working atmosphere in the rice fields. Villagers gather to harvest rice for each other, after harvesting all the rice for one family, they will move to another family's field. They talked happily to each other. I don't understand what they say, but they look very happy despite the hard work.
In addition to beautiful terraced rice fields, Ngok Linh also has pristine villages. These villages are isolated in the high mountains. Ethnic minorities tend to live close to nature. Here, the villagers still retain their unique culture and architecture, so do not miss these villages when you have the opportunity to come here. The trouble is that there is usually only one road leading to these villages. And often these roads are very steep. Only skilled local drivers dare to drive on these roads. Although there are many deprivations, the people here lead a simple and happy life.
In addition, there are many other beautiful scenes in Ngok Linh waiting for you to be discovered. As for me, I had a great time in Ngok Linh valley. Thank you for watching, and see you in the next video.

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services.
I've just updated v4v.app and I'm getting ready for some exciting new features after the next hard fork.
Please consider asking your friends to vote for prop #265 or consider unvoting the return vote.
For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I'll also add that I power up Hive every day and usually power up larger amounts on 1st of the Month. I'm on Hive for ideological reasons much more than for only economic benefit.
Additionally you can also help with a vote for Brianoflondon's Witness using KeyChain or HiveSigner
If you have used v4v.app I'd really like to hear your feedback, and if you haven't I'd be happy to hear why or whether there are other things you want it to do.

I'm glad you mentioned the challenges of getting there. It's always important to be aware of the conditions before you set out on a trip, and it sounds like Ngok Linh is not for the faint of heart. But it's also clear that the rewards are worth it.
I love learning about different cultures, and it sounds like these villages are a great place to do that. I'll definitely have to add Ngok Linh to my list of places to visit.
