I saw this post a few days ago, thrilled that you put out a post from Orthodox Easter. I have to say that I am a little disappointed that it got such low comments, although happy to see you got rewarded. I found it particularly interesting, and it is always interesting to follow you as you give such a detailed commentary on what is going on around you. You have no idea how much that enhances the post, where you actually know what you are seeing.
For Catholics, the Resurrection is the most important religious holiday of the year. I see that is so in Romania also, in the Orthodox Church. It has coincided with dates before, but, the gap of dates has gotten so far apart, they will never be on the same day again. :) Different calendars determine the date. While you use the Julian Calendar, we use the Gregorian. The Julian calendar was originally used.
Everything begins in University Square! Doesn't that make it easier to determine where you should meet, or if there is any doubt? I like that! I have missed meetups looking for people.
The streets are filled with people, tourists, and many curious to see what is going on, some just carrying on in their own lives. I am familiar with the crowded church/cathedral and the spillover to the courtyards. I admire the way you allow each building/monument/person to have their moment it the description, which gives me such pleasure. I am so sorry to cut this so short as I have so much more to say about how your written word comes across.

Here you have touched on a situation that annoys me in Hive. The correlation between the value of a post, the effort that goes into a post and the reward received. I have always considered the reward to be equal to the value and effort. It isn't and, the way it works here, it never will be.
Other criteria are what people vote for and I don't know them. I have often been angry and tempted to quit, seeing extremely simple posts rewarded and ten times more than a post of mine that I have worked for and a whole day for. I gave my example, and although it is obviously subjective, I am sure many have noticed these inconsistencies and differences. Of course, I know that everyone's notoriety matters, engagement, and socialization matter more than the value of the post and that's mostly where the differences come from... In my opinion, in this area of voting, there is still room for improvement and I hope it will happen in the future. However, I am no longer upset that I sometimes get less than I think I deserve because I know I am subjective. I'm just having fun now. Unfortunately, since I've been in Hive, I've had two "qualities" magnified that I was glad I didn't have: ego and envy. That's what bothers me the most and I'm working to cure myself of them...
I have tried to steer clear of religion-related posts, considering how many different religions our fellow platformers have. I allow myself to be more distant, free, critical, or ironic with my religion, because it is a religion of tolerance and love, but others are more strict and rigorous and why not say it, more primitive! However, even in our country, tolerance and love are often ignored even by the ministers of the church...
In Romania there is now an intense debate about the desire for Orthodox Easter to coincide with Catholic Easter, I mean the date of the celebration. Fine intellectuals and philosophers support this but, unfortunately, the church rejects it in a primitive way, but what demands to have from some monks who live in an exaggerated mysticism, without culture, knowledge, and openness to the world. They consider those who ask for unification as tools of the devil and even threaten them with death... can you imagine, the ministers of the church talking about goodness and love! That is why I have big problems with these priests or monks who push me strongly out of the faith. I have met and known the other side, exceptional church people but, I believe that dwelling in the past, dogmas, and lack of understanding do not do good.
