Photo tour of my corner of Savannah, Georgia, USA.
Savannah, Georgia is a beautiful place. In fact, when General Sherman was burning his way through the South during the Civil War, he stopped at Savannah and refused to destroy the city because of its beauty.
The same holds true today. I grew up here on a little island called Isle of Hope. It is right on the Intercoastal Waterway and just as the name suggest, it is a little slice of southern heaven.
Sunrises over the salt marshes is something everyone should experience, along with the world famous southern hospitality.
View from Bluff Drive. The early bird gets the worm again.
My wife, waking up early to enjoy the Savannah sunrise.
