Loving the African Bush

What a lovely stay we had with my mother's cousin at his lodge which runs next door to the Thornybush Lodge near Hoedspruit.

It was a wonderful reunion with Johnny and Flavia and other cousins George and Beverley.

We shared our photographs on a Family whatsapp group and with permission we can use the photographs for our blogs.

We were so lucky to see elephants almost every day right in front of our accommodation

On one occasion there were 7 at one time - including a teenager and a baby - it was too adorable to see them splashing each other and having fun - and on the last day one of them immersed completely in the water.

On the drive we were fortunate to see the biggest male leopard in the area, Malewane.

Spotted Sasika the mateHunting for preyand along came a lioness

Sad to hear that the hungry leopard was looking for prey and along came a hungry lioness, which the guide told us might take on the leopard. Both were looking very lean and hungry - and the leopard went under the wheel of our vehicle. Was a bit scary.

We also saw a new born giraffe suckling from its mother and some buffalo. My mother saw a rhinosaurus on the last day - so she had seen all of the Big 5.

John taking us out on our last game driveWe got quite close to the elephant

We had an awesome time together and it was lovely to connect with family and nature.

We also had the most amazing outdoor dinners. An experience to be remembered for a long time.

Ready and inspired to get back to making music. My latest song was released today. Will blog about Eternity next - with co-producer Dim3ension

Much Love

It must be an impressive experience to see those animals in their natural environment, so close and with the best of the companies. I'm glad the hungry leopard didn't decide to eat the occupants of the vehicle. 😁

Have a nice day my friend
