Have you ever seen a rock that looks like it was purposely shaped like a ship? That is the stunning islet that you immediately see when you are close to Malapascua Island. Its shape is like a ship leaving the port. You can see here in a well-taken picture that is precisely timed in the morning light so that it looks like a mountain of gold in the middle of the sea. This is just an introduction to the delightful sights of the small island of Malapascua.
Malapascua Island is visited by different types of people around the world because of its beauty. My fellow Hivers, let's take advantage by viewing the beautiful sceneries of this Island by going around.
Let's start exploring the earliest part of the daytime which is the dawn. You can see in the picture the beautiful view of the mountainside of the island during the dawn. At the seabed of this area are rocks and some corals where different types of fish and shellfish live.
Malapascua Island is famous for its white and fine sand on its shores, so let's go to the beach portion to see its beauty. Most of the beaches here are pure sand while the bottom of the deep part is made of rocks. So even if you have a lot of fun swimming and playing in the water, it remains crystal clear.
In Malapascua Island, you can compare the difference in seasons. There is a tranquil and sunny season in March, April, and May which is summer. Summer is the favorite time of vacationers because it is very nice to bathe in the sea. After all, the environment is hot and so is their body. It is good to refresh yourself in the clear and calm waters that seem surrounded by fine waves. The whole family will have a lot of fun, especially the children, to swim without worry because of the calm waters.
However, there are two windy and rough seasons which are the Southwest Monsoon which brings strong wind associated with rain and big waves, and the Northeast Monsoon where the wind is strong and the sea is rough. But as I said before, the difference in seasons on both sides of the island is visible.
In what way? For example, during the Northeast monsoon season, the waves are big and the water is unclear in the area called Kaanit by the locals. Although it is not good to bathe in this place, this is good weather for surfers because they enjoy surfing the big waves. In the Northeast monsoon, on the other side of the island is a calm sea and clear water in the place they call the hidden bay.
Let's explore the beautiful beach of Hidden Bay during the Northeast monsoon. This is a fantastic art of nature because the beach is curved and some plants provide shade. The second windy season is the Southwest monsoon. During the Southwest monsoon, the side of the hidden bay is the rough sea with big waves and unclear water while on the Kaanit side is tranquil.
Let's go back to the tranquil side of Kaanit so we can compare how beautiful it is when the waters are calm. We can see here in the picture the white sand of its shores where the boats line on the beach.
If you look into the deep waters you can see the rocks even in their depth because of the clarity of the water.
To fully enjoy your bathing, of course, those who love it will not lose their desire to dive. Let's go to the opposite end of the island they called it Lapus Lapus Beach. They have two dive sites there for amateurs and professionals in diving.
For amateurs or those who just love diving and backflipping, there is a natural, well-formed rock on the seaside that is only 2 feet away from the seawater at high tide. A slight modification was made by adding concrete cement to make the top surface of the rock plain and safe to dive into.
For professionals and lovers of extreme exhibitions, there is a cliff jumping site and they called it Lapus Lapus Cliff that is above 20 feet in height from the deep sea. Many people love to dive at high altitude as part of their passion for extreme adventures.
Malapascua is also a historical place. According to the old natives living here, the warship of Japanese soldiers landed on this part of the island. They showed the place where the ship was docked and I took a picture of it.
In our exploration of Malapascua, we saw that it is not only rich in natural beauties but also rich in history.
That's all for this blog my beloved Hivers. Thank you for exploring with me.

The historical aspect of the island adds another layer of interest to the experience, especially the connection with Japanese soldiers during the war. It's always enriching to learn about the history of a place you visit.
Thank you for sharing this delightful journey through Malapascua Island, filled with natural beauty, rich history, and exciting activities. It's a place that has something to offer for everyone.
Thank you ma'am @silviared945 for your appreciation of this article. There is also a sunken Japanese ship in Malapascua always visited by many divers. I haven't included it in this blog because I don't have the means to take actual photos.

What a gem Malapascua Island indeed is, I could barely remember the last time I was here with my parents for a summer vacation. I recall there are so many sea urchins here and we really bought a lot during our stay. It flocks many tourists both local and international. Thank you for sharing the beautiful Malapascua island☺︎♡
Thank you @heyitsjian for your comment. That's right. Malapascua is also rich in seafood.
How I wish to visit the island anytime soon☺︎♡
That place is very beautiful, sir. The water and sea are very clear, and it's really nice to bathe there. I hope one day we can come there with my family.
That's right sir @jedum. The Malapascua Beaches are very nice to bathe in. Hopefully, you can visit there too.
I've never been to Malapascua and it's one on my bucket list that I wanted to visit and witness the fine white sand of the place. Probably what month should you recommend to me to visit the place? When waves are calm and not that high because I'm not a good swimmer😊
Thank you for the appreciation ma'am @selflessgem. It's nice to visit there in March April and May.
