It is the resting place of books, the sanctuary of knowledge, where reading reaches its highest level, where doubt is attacked by sets of lines, pages and texts, in a tense silence, we can consider libraries a mysterious and boring place or we can appreciate them as the liquidator of ignorance, to know some topic and learn new things, in this opportunity dear friends of Hive blog, we are going to know one of my favorite places, the central public library of the city of San Felipe in Venezuela.
The new generations surely do not have much importance to seek some information to public libraries, look for a book to have some knowledge either technical, theoretical or entertainment, is something obsolete, simply "googling" can solve the doubts or curiosity that had, But as I am a lover of the past, I know that the books that I looked for many times in the libraries did not fail me, there was the most verified knowledge that I could not doubt, that is why when I read the books my level of security increased greatly, that is why I will always see the books or in this case the libraries a perfect place to know.
Las nuevas generaciones seguramente no tengan de mucha importancia buscar algunas informaciones a las bibliotecas públicas, buscar algún libro para tener algo de conocimiento ya sea técnico, teórico o de entretenimiento, sea algo obsoleto, simplemente “googleando” pueden resolver las dudas o la curiosidad que se tenía, pero como yo soy un enamorado del pasado, sé que los libros que busque muchas veces en las bibliotecas no me fallaban, estaba el conocimiento más verificado que no podría dudar, es por eso que al leer los libros mi nivel de seguridad aumentaban grandemente, es por eso que siempre veré los libros o en este caso a las bibliotecas un lugar perfecto para saber.

Desde pequeño en la escuela nos mandaban a la biblioteca municipal para hacer las tareas, al principio no me llamaba mucho la atención, pero de repente le tome mucho cariño hacer mis tareas en las mesas alargadas de cuatro puestos, luego más adelante en la universidad era casi una obligación buscar las referencias de los autores que se encontraban exclusivamente en las bibliotecas universitarias, pero también buscaba información en la biblioteca pública de la capital de mi estado, que es la que vamos a conocer a continuación.

Es muy fácil llegar a la biblioteca, tiene un horario de las 8:00 am hasta las 12:00 pm, luego abren desde la 1:30 pm hasta las 4:00 pm, desde los lunes a viernes, sábado cierran a las 12:00 pm y los domingos está cerrado, al llegar solo hace falta llenar una lista de asistencia con unos datos personales, dejar los morrales o carteras y listo te dan el ingreso cualquier persona con deseos de leer puede visitarla.

Who was Doctor Félix Pífano // Quien era el Doctor Félix Pífano
He was a very prominent doctor in the area of medicine and scientific research, born in San Felipe Yaracuy State in 1912 and died in Caracas in 2003 at the age of 91, he graduated from the Central University of Venezuela in 1935, he was a professor and researcher in the area of treating diseases such as leishmaniasis, tuberculosis, diarrhea and intestinal parasitosis, He founded together with Martin Mayer the research section of the National Institute of Hygiene in Caracas, published several works on malaria, Chagas disease, cutaneous leishmaniasis and poisonous snakes. He also founded the Institute of Tropical Medicine of the UCV and directed it for almost 50 years.
Fue un doctor muy destacado en el área de la medicina y la investigación científica, nacido en el San Felipe Estado Yaracuy en 1912 y murió en Caracas en el 2003 a los 91 años, fue graduado de la Universidad Centra de Venezuela en 1935, fue profesor e investigador en el área de tratando enfermedades como la leishmaniasis, tuberculosis, diarreas y parasitosis intestinales y la malaria, fundó junto con Martín Mayer la sección de investigación del instituto nacional de higiene en Caracas, publicó varios trabajos sobre el paludismo, la enfermedad de chagas, la leishmaniasis cutánea y las serpientes ponzoñosas, además fundó el Instituto de medicina tropical de la UCV y lo dirigió por casi 50 años.

En una de las paredes de la biblioteca se encuentran un retrato del doctor Pífano enmarcado, con una pequeña descripción, también se encuentran algunos trabajos y ensayos del médico, en los archivos, es muy importante la influencia del doctor Pífano en el estado, muchas de sus investigaciones llenan de orgullo no solo a los habitantes de Yaracuy, sino también a todo el país por sus grandes aporte al desarrollo científico y médico.

The children's room is called "Morita Carrillo" it was donated by the private cardboard company SMURFIT MOCARPEL in March 1990, it is one of the rooms in better condition in the library, it contains the vast majority of children's books, such as novels, stories, atlases, materials for children to learn the habit of reading, materials so that the children can learn the habit of reading, it also has something very cool which are the chess boards for children to practice this sport, and at the end of the room the green areas where children can be distracted and run for a while, these facilities are widely used by schools throughout the city and other municipalities, that is why it is important and the care of these important spaces.
La sala de los niños tiene por nombre “Morita Carrillo” tuvo una donación por la empresa privada de cartón SMURFIT MOCARPEL en marzo de 1990, es una de las salas en mejor estado en la biblioteca, en ella contiene la gran mayoría de libros infantiles, como novelas, cuentos, atlas, materiales para que los niños puedan aprender el hábito de la lectura demás tiene algo muy genial que son los tableros de ajedrez para que los niños practiquen este deporte, y al final de la sala las áreas verde donde los niños pueden distraerse y correr un rato, estas instalaciones son muy utilizadas por los colegios de toda la ciudad y otros municipios, es por eso lo importante y el cuidado de estos espacios tan importantes.

En la parte superior de la biblioteca se encuentra el segundo piso, que también contiene muchos libros de diferentes géneros, pero más relacionado con el área jurídica, leyes y economía, es el lugar donde más oficina tiene, porque esta se encuentra una sede del ministerio de turismo, una oficina relacionado con el patrimonio cultural del Estado, además una zona de presentaciones de conferencia y talleres, en esta altura se puede apreciar el gran trabajo que se le hizo a la estructura del techo reforzada con cabillas de acero para darle más fuerza al todo el edificio.

My first intention to go to the central library of the city, was to bring this kind of content to the blockchain community so that everyone could see the great structure and the meaning that this place has, but also I had the great pleasure to revisit a place that for many years was for me the favorite, I have always been crazy about books and knowledge, but remember this place fills me with so much pride and value, because I will be grateful all my life with this library, but also with a special book, It is called "the conservation of food and handmade products" by John Seymour of the BLU publishing house, perhaps one of the books that are in my best top of my life, it is a manual of self-sufficiency for life, with it contains techniques of conversation and elaboration of handmade products in addition to production works, This book was part of my graduate work, as an entrepreneur and as one more person in this life who wanted to achieve self-sufficiency because of his own means, I have a lot of love and affection for this book for all that it gave me all those years.
Mi primera intención de ir a la biblioteca central de la ciudad, fue traer este tipo de contenido a la comunidad blockchain para que todos pudieran ver la gran estructura y el significado que tiene este lugar, pero además tenía tengo el gran placer de volver a visitar un lugar que por muchos años fue para mí el favorito, siempre he sido un loco por los libros y el conocimiento, pero recordar este lugar me llena de tanto orgullo y valor, porque voy a estar agradecido toda mi vida con esta biblioteca, pero además con un libro en especial, que se llama "la conservación de alimentos y productos artesanales" de John Seymour de la editorial BLU tal vez unos de los libros que están en mi mejor top de mi vida, es un manual de autosuficiencia para la vida, con él contiene técnicas de conversación y elaboración de productos artesanales además de trabajos de producción, con hierro, barro y madera, este libro fue parte de mis trabajos de grado, como emprendedor y como una persona más en esta vida que quiso conseguir la autosuficiencia porque sus propios medios, le tengo mucho amor y cariño a este libro por todo lo que me brindo todos esos años.
Something that was a surprise for me, is to see again the librarian who helped me in my studies years ago, Mrs. Carmen, a kind woman who always got me the books I needed, she recognized me and I recognized her, it had been more than 5 years without hearing from her and I am so happy to see her again, although I can not take a picture with her because she does not like it, I will always be very grateful to her for all the support she gave me long ago and she still works helping visitors who go to the library, but to my surprise, she looked in the archive for my old library card expired back in 2014 that I used to ask for books rented for as long as I wanted, I will keep it as a souvenir.
Algo que fue una sorpresa para mí, es volver a ver a la bibliotecaria que en ayudada en mis tiempos de estudios desde hace años atrás, la señora Carmen, una amable mujer que siempre me conseguía los libros que necesitaba, me reconoció y yo la reconocí habían pasado más de 5 años sin saber de ella y me alegro tanto volverla a ver, aunque no puede tomarme una foto con ella porque no le gusta, siempre voy a estar muy agradecido con ella por todo el apoyo que me dio hace tiempo y que todavía trabaja ayudando a los visitantes que van a la biblioteca, pero para mayor sorpresa, ella buscó en el archivo mi antiguo carnet bibliotecario vencido por allá en el 2014 que me servía para pedir los libros alquilados con el tiempo que quisiera, lo guardaré como un recuerdo.
