La Olla... Un senderismo verde
Hola, nuevamente, comunidad. Hoy quiero presentarles un sitio hermoso, bueno, más que un solo sitio, es todo el recorrido lo que cuenta para llegar a él. Hablemos de "La Olla", pues así se llama, debido a su forma. Es un pozo ubicado en el Parque Terepaima del Estado Lara, como punto de referencia, a la altura de "Los Cristales".
Fui de excursión con un grupo de senderistas del Estado Portuguesa llamado para ese entonces "Ruta extrema Portuguesa", hoy día llamados "Viajeros Venezuela" debido a que han ampliado sus rutas de viaje. Este viaje fue mi primera experiencia de senderismo, y vaya que escogí un recorrido largo y que requiere buena aptitud física y mental para llegar al objetivo. Esto fue a finales de julio del 2019, luego de haber finalizado mi labor como maestra en un colegio (necesitaba buenas vacaciones jajaja).
Partimos desde el Terminal de pasajeros de Acarigua. Al llegar, el primer punto que nos mostraron los guías fue las vías del tren. Más adelante, encontramos el nacimiento del Río Sarare, me fascinó porque para mí fue primera vez que veía el nacimiento de un río. Lamentablemente ni de las vías del tren, ni del nacimiento se tomaron fotografías.

Desde allí empezamos el recorrido adentrándonos a las montañas. Por supuesto gran parte del sendero era en subida, lo cual resultó bastante agotador.

Ahora bien, cuando llegamos a un mirador quedé maravillada y pues esas vistas son las que valen la pena nuestro esfuerzo. Aquí les muestro a lo que me refiero:
Aunque, no solo era el mirador, antes de llegar a él, pasamos un punto de neblina espectacular. Esta permitía que el camino fuera bastante agradable.
Hasta allí llevábamos como hora y media de recorrido. Luego venían las bajadas y entrar en un bosque.
Al principio ese bosque es solo tierra seca, más adelante tierra húmeda y luego tierra inundada con un leve flujo de agua que atraviesa la zona para prepararnos a la llegada de la selva. El bosque es la parte tranquila, plana donde prácticamente se descansa y se puede recobrar fuerzas. Ahora sí, viene la selva, donde hay subidas y bajadas un tanto peligrosas. Gracias a Dios el equipo estaba bastante preparado y nos ayudaron en todos momentos para subir y bajar aquellas partes difíciles.
Aquí debo confesar que me dio algo de miedo esa bajada, un mal movimiento y podía llevarme una terrible caída.
Para este punto, por fin vimos agua y comenzamos a bañarnos

Ya un poco más de caminata y por fin llegamos al destino, "La Olla", realmente es muy hermoso, la caída de agua principal y las caídas que se desprenden de ella, dan ganas de estar allí más seguido.

Espero les haya gustado mis post, y quienes tengan la posibilidad de visitarlo, no lo dude. Hay muchos viajeros que acuden al sitio, por tanto, contratar el servicio que ofrecen estos guías lo vale. Ahorita debe estar costando el paseo aproximadamente 10$. Recomiendo llevar ropa cómoda, comida, agua y medicina.

La Olla... A green trekking
Hello again, community. Today I want to introduce you to a beautiful place, well, more than a place, what counts is the whole journey to get there. Let's talk about "La Olla", as it is called, due to its shape. It is a well located in the Terepaima Park of the State of Lara, as a reference point, at the height of "Los Cristales"..
I went hiking with a group of hikers from Portuguesa State called at that time "Ruta extrema Portuguesa", today called "Viajeros Venezuela " because they have expanded their travel routes. This trip was my first hiking experience, and boy did I choose a long route and one that requires a good physical and mental state to reach the goal. This was at the end of July 2019, after finishing my job as a teacher in a school (I needed a good vacation hahaha).
We left the passenger terminal in Acarigua. Upon arrival, the first point that the guides showed us were the train tracks. Further on, we found the source of the Sarare River, it fascinated me because it was the first time I had seen the source of a river. Unfortunately, neither the train tracks nor the birth were taken photographs.

From there we started our journey into the mountains. Of course, much of the way was uphill, which was quite strenuous.

However, when we got to a viewpoint I was amazed and those views are worth it. Here I show you what I mean:
Although, it was not only the viewpoint, before reaching it, we passed a spectacular point of fog. This allowed the path to be quite pleasant.
Up to there we had been riding for about an hour and a half. Then came the descents and entering a forest.
At first the forest is only dry land, then wet land and then flooded land with a slight flow of water that crosses the area to prepare us for the arrival of the jungle. The forest is the quiet, flat part where you can practically rest and regain strength. Now comes the jungle, where there are climbs and descents somewhat dangerous. Thank God the team was quite prepared and helped us at all times to climb and descend those difficult parts.
Here I must confess that I was a bit scared of that descent, one wrong move and I could have a terrible fall.
At this point, we finally saw water and began to bathe.

A little more walking and we finally arrived at our destination, "La Olla", it is really very beautiful, the main waterfall and the waterfalls that fall from it, make you want to be there more often.

I hope you liked my posts, and those who have the chance to visit it, do not hesitate. There are many travelers who come to the site, so hiring the service offered by these guides is worth it. Right now it should be costing about $10 for the tour. I recommend bringing comfortable clothes, food, water and medicine.

Que espectacular ese paisaje😍, tiene unas calidad de agua súper increíbles. Siempre he querido hacer senderismo pero no me he arriesgado hacerlo aún.
