Hello, today I'd like to share our trip to one of the most picturesque cities in Bulgaria. It had been a while since we last swam, so our goal was to find a beautiful beach nearby. We had previously visited Byala and departed from there. Byala a small town, is close to Obzor, with both cities being about 60 kilometers from Varna and approximately 60-70 kilometers from Burgas.
After parking our car, we took a short walk and decided to head to the beach. When we arrived, people were swimming and everything was perfect. So, we decided to get something to eat. Luckily everything was very close. Where there is food, there are naturally clothes and shoes as well.
This was my first time here during the day. When I had been here at night, everything was fantastic. I saw a large slide and for some reason, it reminded me of Turkey. It was really beautiful.
There were big fish, probably sea bass or carp. Obzor is truly a great place. We can confidently say that this place is a superb city.
Later we swam and had fun at the beach. We also wanted to take a walk along the shore and see what else was there. This was one of the best-organized beaches I had seen in Bulgaria. There was everything you could need: a constant health team, showers to clean the seawater and sand and beautiful frames for photos every five meters.
The beach also had toilets, which were clean, but you needed to have a Lev with you. At every step, there were palm trees, flowers and cafes. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was quite cultured and lovely. The people were also very kind.
I can say that this place is great for working and living. There was a large guesthouse to my right and it looked quite nice. I can't even tell which language I heard the most because I wasn't paying attention. What caught my attention was the beauty and quality of service.
This city is truly beautiful. Today, I fell in love with this city, especially the coastal area which is stunning and the beach is amazing. I really liked it. If I had been here last summer, I would have wanted to live here because of the beach and the promenade.
I can imagine how wonderful it would be to take a morning walk here, especially if you live nearby. This place is quite fun and it's delightful to watch people on vacation.
This isn't our first time here, but the city looks different every time. If you come to Bulgaria for a vacation and are not satisfied with your beach hotel's beach, I recommend taking a walk. Maybe after a few kilometers you will find a more suitable and beautiful place. On our last trip, we had a completely different experience just a 10-minute drive away. This city is at least great for a vacation, I definitely recommend it 100%, even 200%. If I were asked which city I would like to spend a week in Bulgaria, I would choose Obzor.
Our car was parked for free the entire time. I don't know how my friend found this spot, but it was somewhere among residential areas. While taking photos of the houses adorned with fancy flowers and the clean streets, it was really enjoyable to walk through the city and take in the views. We liked it a lot when we were here in the winter as well. My friend especially loved this place due to the construction work, there was something being built on every corner.
We came here in January, arriving from Varna on January 17th and stopped by on our way back. We couldn't find much information about this place online, my friend mentioned a castle but the directions were incorrect. This is quite common in Bulgaria. If there are interesting places to visit in Obzor, it's good to identify their locations beforehand.
We had a wonderful beach holiday. If you are nearby, I definitely recommend visiting this city for its beach.
