The day before we decided to go to Solitude Palace, a warning had been released announcing that the subway line near to us would be closed, and we would have to use a different route. We took the bus, then the tram, and then a couple more buses until we finally got there.
The air was cold and moist, there was fog and you could not see farther than about a hundred metres.
We wanted to walk around the gardens, but they had put barriers, probably to prevent visitors from entering the wet and slippery grounds.

Under the drizzle, we went to find out about the admission fee and tour schedule. Tours are given in German, and although we could not speak much, we managed to understand some things. The guide was a great storyteller and funny to listen to. She kept the crowd interested with her gestures and jokes about the late autumn cold and royal life back in the 1700's.

After the tour around the richly decorated palace we almost ran to find a place to get warm. We were lucky enough to find a table in the little cafe before it got crowded. We had our Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and cake) and hurried to catch the bus to go back home.

Overall it was a nice trip. I only regret we could not wander around the gardens. I can only hope to return in better weather to explore the surroundings.

About the pictures of the interior... Unfortunately it was not allowed to take any. And it's a shame, because there are beautiful ornaments, floors, furniture... The only images of the interior I keep are in my mind.

Un detalle importante. Cuando vayas a publicar fotos que ya están en la red, es importante que lo indiques. En Hive se estimula la publicación de contenido inédito y este trabajo lo es en su mayoría. Pero la cuarta foto aparece en los buscadores.

¡Hola! ¡Muchas gracias! Gracias por la recomendación. Esa foto a la que te refieres me intriga un poco dónde sale. Creo que la mandé hace unos meses a un concurso de Smithsonian (muy audaz de mi parte, jeje).
Como algunas de mis fotos están en otros perfiles propios -que en realidad tienen alcance limitado- te pregunto ¿Sugieres que comente que ya están publicadas?

Sí. Lo mejor que puedes hacer con cualquier foto, es dar los detalles. Si están en muchas redes, puedes aclarar que son de tu colección y las has publicado en muchas oportunidades. O un caso como este, decir que es tuya y está en tal lado por un concurso...
Recuerda que el objetivo principal de Hive es mostrar contenido inédito (es lo ideal), pero con sus fuentes claras no hay ningún problema.
En fotografía también se estila colocar información del tipo de cámara usada, filtros, efectos, programas de edición, etc.

Lo de los detalles técnicos si lo he pasado, cierto (claro que los datos de exposición están registrados en la mayoría de las fotos de mi galería). Me tocará editarlos.
Yo entendía que era fundamental que el contenido fuera original, pero entiendo que se promueva lo inédito. Me confunde un poco qué es exactamente lo que se considera contenido reciclado. ¿Es algo publicado en otra red o blog, o algo reciclado dentro de Hive? Entendía que se trataba de lo segundo, pero tengo la duda. Quiero hacer un post de un viaje, con unas fotos de hace varios años que están en Instagram, pero no sé si será válido.

El punto que hay que entender es cuál es el centro de la publicación.
Por ejemplo, si tú vas a contarnos tu viaje y narrar las aventuras que vivieron, ese sería el centro del post. En ese caso puedes "apoyar" con imágenes que has publicado con anterioridad. Pero si el centro del post van a ser la imágenes, la historia es otra. Pues en ese caso es donde se le atribuye en título de "reciclado", pues el protagonista ya está publicado anteriormente.
Eso aplica internamente y externamente.
Hay casos de fotógrafos acá que publican unas fotos y más adelante las publican nuevamente y van mostrando todo el proceso de edición, con los indicativos de los filtros, etc. En el primer caso, el protagonista era la foto, en el segundo caso, el proceso de edición.
Yo creo que ahí es donde está todo el asunto.
En cuanto a lo que tienes publicado, no es necesario que lo edites para agregar la información mencionada. Te lo comenté porque es una buena práctica, que sé que muchos curadores o comunidades, toman en cuenta. Pero no es obligatorio..

Entiendo lo que dices del protagonista del post y tiene perfecto sentido.
Tengo sentimientos encontrados acerca de la información técnica y veo que algunos fotógrafos la omiten. Quizá en el caso de una serie de fotos siento que se rompe un poco la continuidad (algo de la estética de la publicación, digamos) pero siempre se puede resolver indicando los datos al final, por ejemplo. Entiendo que las audiencias son muy variadas y habrá quienes quieran conocer los detalles y quienes no.

¡Por supuesto puedes colocarla al final! La idea no es afectar la estética de la publicación.
E insisto, no se trata de una exigencia en la plataforma. Sé que hay algunos concursos donde sí es obligatorio el uso de esta información, pero se trata de casos puntuales. No se trata de una política de Hive.
Tal como dices, hay muchos fotógrafos que no la colocan, en algunos casos será por desconocimiento y en otros por decisión. Repito una vez, lo mencioné porque entiendo que se trata de una "buena práctica" que puedes seguir o no... ;-)
