This is the first time I visited Jogya with a friend while attending training in Solo. From Solo - Jogya only takes 1 hour, by taking the Commuter line (KRL) which only pays a ticket for 8K.
The first place I visited was Marlioboro, which is one of the three streets in Yogyakarta that stretches from the monument of Jogyakarta to the zero kilometer point of Jogyakarta. On Sunday night, the atmosphere around Malioboro was very crowded. Many performances can be found around Malioboro: such as music performances, art performances and also some batik exhibitions and photo shoots of visitors wearing traditional clothes.
On Sunday evenings, many visitors flock to the Malioboro area, sitting around and enjoying the Sunday evening accompanied by legendary music. In fact, there are also music performances that many visitors enjoy. Besides being accompanied by music that is enjoyable to listen to, visitors can also make requests and also contribute songs. They can also dance together, enjoying the lively Sunday night atmosphere at Malioboro.
The first impression of visiting Jogya is special, in accordance with the nickname of this city. it's only fitting that many people take their time to vacation in Jogya. Although the cost is quite expensive if you go from the island of Sumatra. Java is a dense island that is interesting to visit with the texture of buildings that still smell of Dutch heritage in ancient times as well as modern transportation with good and adequate facilities.
Traditional culinary in Yogyakarta is also diverse, ranging from klepon, cenil, satay and other traditional culinary. With such a wide variety of culinary delights, I gained 3kg during my three-month stay in Solo. The culinary delights of Solo, Yogyakarta and Semarang on the island of Java are very good. Don't forget to feed the deer around the night market. Jogya is a memorable place to visit, making us want to come back again.
