Cuando visitamos museos, el tipo de creaciones que más nos enamora es el arte Moderno ¿La razón? Son muchas, pero la más importante es la convicción de una verdadera revolución creativa, entregada por el estilo del artista y la visión poseída de la belleza espacial colorida, de su entorno y la fantasía concebida por su mente. Esto, ni es fácil de encontrar -y mucho menos- de digerir por cualquier ser humano. El arte moderno conecta con el espectador de un modo como no lo hace el clásico. Tal realidad se debe al riesgo que toma el artista y que el público acepta. De no ser así, el artista recordado por colocar una banana pegada a un lienzo con cinta de empacado gris, no sería considerado "genio" al poder convencer a Justin Sun de pagar US$ 6.000.000 por ese bodrio. Cada quien con su cada cual. Lo cierto del caso es que el Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires, era una tarea pendiente en nuestro viaje a la Argentina.

When we visit museums, the type of creations we fall in love with the most is Modern art. There are many, but the most important is the conviction of a true creative revolution, delivered by the style of the artist and the vision possessed by the colorful spatial beauty of his environment and the fantasy conceived by his mind. This is not easy to find - let alone - to digest by any human being. Modern art connects with the viewer in a way that classical art does not. Such a reality is due to the risk that the artist takes and that the public accepts. Otherwise, the artist remembered for attaching a banana to a canvas with gray packing tape would not be considered a “genius” for being able to convince Justin Sun to pay US$ 6,000,000 for that piece of junk. To each his own. The truth of the matter is that the Museo de Arte Moderno in Buenos Aires was a pending task on our trip to Argentina.
La edificación del museo es moderna y se encuentra ubicada en Av. San Juan 350, Buenos Aires. La entrada tiene un valor de ARS$ 10.000, los miércoles es gratuito y los nacionales con DNI pagan menos. Las exhibiciones están repartidas en cuatro pisos de un complejo de salas con 11.000 m2 de superficie. La inmensidad de la edificación nos hizo invertir cerca de 4 horas y media de recorrido. Es decir, disfrutamos tanto el arte moderno @aventurerasbike y este redactor, que nos tomamos las cosas con calma para discernir la dimensión verdadera de lo que veíamos. Eso explica la cantidad enorme de imágenes que adornan ésta publicación y el vídeo editado por mi compañera, el cual encontrarán en el segundo lugar después de la imagen de portada ¿por qué tantas imágenes @fermionico? Digamos que dejamos fuera del post unas 80 gráficas adicionales, así de fructífera fue la visita y les puede dar una idea sobre el cómo atesoramos el recorrido.

The museum is a modern building located at Av. San Juan 350, Buenos Aires. Admission is ARS$ 10,000, on Wednesdays it is free and nationals with ID pay less. The exhibits are spread over four floors of a complex of rooms with 11,000 m2 of floor space. The immensity of the building made us spend about 4 and a half hours touring it. That is to say, we enjoyed so much the modern art @aventurerasbike and this writer, that we took it easy to take the true dimension of what we were seeing. That explains the huge amount of images that adorn this post and the video edited by my partner, which you will find in the second place after the cover image, why so many images @fermionico? Let's just say that we left out of the post about 80 additional graphics, that's how fruitful the visit was and it can give you an idea about how we treasured the tour.
En el segundo piso se encuentra la mayor parte de las salas. Los artistas invitados con sus exposiciones itinerantes, tienen su espacio en éste piso. La verdad les quedaré debiendo los nombres de cada uno ¿la razón? son demasiados y estábamos más pendiente de las obras que de andar anotando a sus creadores. En todo caso usted puede averiguar la información más reciente sobre estos aspectos, en el sitio web del museo. En el primer piso, tienen espacio los artistas permanentes, mostrando en diferentes salas los trabajos patrimonio del museo. En éste piso, también se muestran artistas itinerantes, sólo que en menor proporción respecto del segundo piso. En la planta baja, hay una mezcla de artistas itinerantes junto a una librería y un café, además de las taquillas de la institución. El primer subsuelo es dedicado a oficinas y talleres. El segundo subsuelo está dedicado mayormente a los niños y tiene una biblioteca de consulta.

On the second floor are most of the rooms. The invited artists with their itinerant exhibitions have their space on this floor. The truth is that I owe you the names of each one of them. The reason? there are too many and we were more interested in the works than in writing down their creators. In any case, you can find out the latest information on these aspects at the museum's website. On the second floor, the permanent artists have space, showing in different rooms the works of the museum's patrimony. Itinerant artists are also shown on this floor, but to a lesser extent than on the second floor. On the first floor, there is a mix of itinerant artists together with a bookstore and a café, as well as the institution's ticket offices. The first basement is dedicated to offices and workshops. The second basement is dedicated mostly to children and has a reference library.
Expresar cuál espacio o sala nos gustó más, sería un ejercicio fútil, dada la belleza encontrada en cada una de ellas. Puede haya arte atrevido saliendo de la zona de confort, respecto a lo que se define como arte moderno, pero comprender hay público para todo es la piedra angular de ésta expresión artística. Lo que unos consideran "bello", otros bien podrían clasificarlo de "monstruosidad" y eso es lo que hace lindo al ser humano: la variedad de sus percepciones. Comprender los puntos de vista de cualquier artista, es una manera de ver el mundo con otros ojos y si usted no siente paz interna, quizás le sea mucho más difícil comprender tales punto de vista. Acá solo se trata de capturar la percepción de otro. No sólo recomendamos ir a este museo, sino que podría formar parte fácilmente de un par de visitas al año, dada la programación itinerante que cambia y por ende la conformación del museo. To express which space or room we liked the most would be a futile exercise, given the beauty found in each of the rooms. There may be daring art that goes out of the comfort zone, with respect to what is understood as modern art, but understanding that there is an audience for everything is the cornerstone of this artistic expression. What some consider “beautiful”, others could well classify as “monstrosity” and that is what makes human beings beautiful: the variety of their perceptions. Understanding the points of view of any artist is a way to see the world with different eyes, and if you do not feel inner peace, it may be much more difficult to understand such points of view. Here it is only about capturing the perception of another. Here we not only recommend coming, but it could easily be part of a couple of visits a year, since the itinerant program changes and so does the museum. And you, dear reader, do you like Modern Art?
