From Cebu North Bus Terminal in SM Cebu, take a bus bound for Catmon and tell the driver to drop you off at Naghalin Bridge. From there, you can ask the locals or ride a motorcycle to take you to Black Sand Beach Resort.
If you have your own car, it's even easier, you can use Waze or Google Maps to navigate Naghalin Bridge, Catmon, Cebu. Once you're there, ask the locals there and they can guide you to the exact location of the resort.

As soon as I arrived at Black Sand Beach Resort , I was immediately greeted by the refreshing vibe of the resort. It was surrounded by mangroves and other trees that create a peaceful atmosphere. Even the store there in the entrance area, felt inviting. One of my classmates recommended this resort as the venue for our section's year-end party, and I can say that this resort is absolutely perfect.
After paying the entrance fee, we went straight to our assigned table. There we put our things, the food and our bags. Amazingly, we were the only people that morning. The resort's setup was impressive, they have benches, chairs, and tables set up outside, where you can relax while enjoying the view of the sea.
As I walked around, I appreciated the resort even more because it is surrounded by mangroves and other trees. Under the mangrove trees, there are aesthetic cottages and rooms directly facing the sea. The combination of the trees and the sea provides a therapeutic view that seems to encourage everyone to forget stress and enjoy life. For beach lovers looking for a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect place.
After we arranged everything on the table, we took pictures in every corner of the resort. Every corner of the resort is Instagram-worthy. Whether it's the cottages, the mangroves, or the black sand shore, you can't help but capture a picture.
When I returned to our table, I was directly facing the sea. The view is like a picture of peace, looking at the sea reminds me that the world is indeed beautiful and there are many reasons to live and enjoy life. It made me think that I have to work hard, find a stable job, and fulfill my dreams such as traveling to different places here in the Philippines and abroad.
After lunch, we played fun games and went swimming. Our laughter filled the place. This resort is not only great for friends but also perfect for families, parties, or quiet getaways. And don't miss the sunrise and sunset here, it's an amazing experience, along with the sound of the waves.
