Si eres venezolano de seguro has escuchado o has visitado las increíbles playas que nuestro país tiene. Joyas naturales donde la vista se pierde entre tanta belleza, un clima perfecto y unas condiciones ambientales que hacen de estos lugares un destino paradisiaco que ojala todos, nacionales y extranjeros puedan visitar aunque sea una vez en su vida.
If you are Venezuelan you have surely heard or have visited the incredible beaches that our country has. Natural jewels where the view is lost among so much beauty, a perfect climate and environmental conditions that make these places a paradisiacal destination that hopefully everyone, nationals and foreigners can visit at least once in their lives.
Para los que no han tenido la dicha de visitar nuestras playas, hoy les quiero contar de mi más reciente aventura, un viaje de un fin de semana en dos de las playas más hermosas del estado Aragua. Hablo de la mundialmente conocida playa de Cuyagua, famosa por sus corrientes fuertes y alto oleaje que hacen un lugar buscado por surfistas que organizan competencias deportivas nacionales e internacionales. Y la otra playa, menos conocida, pero llena de vida y riqueza es La Ciénaga, un lugar que es un paraíso en la tierra por ser una piscina natural de aguas calmadas y una paz imperecedera.
For those who have not had the pleasure of visiting our beaches, today I want to tell you about my most recent adventure, a weekend trip to two of the most beautiful beaches in the state of Aragua. I'm talking about the world famous Cuyagua beach, famous for its strong currents and high waves that make it a place sought after by surfers who organize national and international sports competitions. And the other beach, less known, but full of life and richness is La Cienaga, a place that is a paradise on earth for being a natural pool of calm waters and an everlasting peace.
Sin dudas son dos destinos perfectos donde el corazón y el espíritu aventurero pueden estar en paz mientras disfrutas de sus paradisiacas y cálidas aguas.
En esta aventura estuve acompañado de mi prometida, mi bella Ariadna. Un viaje muy especial por dos razones, la primera es que teníamos un año sin poder ir a la playa y ya salía un viajecito y la segunda razón es que Ariadna nunca había visitado estas playas en su vida, razón por la cual había que hacer este viaje porqué sí.
Undoubtedly these are two perfect destinations where the heart and the adventurous spirit can be at peace while enjoying its paradisiacal and warm waters.
In this adventure I was accompanied by my fiancée, my beautiful Ariadna. A very special trip for two reasons, the first is that we had a year without being able to go to the beach and a little trip was coming up and the second reason is that Ariadna had never visited these beaches in her life, which is why we had to make this trip for sure.
La idea vino en el mes de diciembre cuando ambos, cansados pero entusiasmados por conseguir un tiempo para nosotros y para el descanso decidimos volver a confiar en nuestros amigos de MarejadaTeam para unirnos a las aventuras a lugares increíbles que ellos ofrecen a sus clientes. Ya este sería nuestro 5to viaje con estos aventureros que además de ser altamente profesionales con su trabajo, son personas de gran calidad humana. Pero no fue sino hasta este pasado fin de semana cuando nos fuimos a las playas Aragüeñas a disfrutar de dos días sin ver los teléfonos o preocuparnos por el trabajo, las ocupaciones diarias y la molestia causada por el transporte en las urbes venezolanas. De verdad fue un respiro increíble.

The idea came in the month of December when both of us, tired but excited to get some time for ourselves and for rest, decided to trust again in our friends from MarejadaTeam to join the adventures to amazing places that they offer to their clients. This would already be our 5th trip with these adventurers who besides being highly professional with their work, are people of great human quality. But it was not until this past weekend when we went to the beaches of Aragüeñas to enjoy two days without looking at the phones or worrying about work, daily occupations and the hassle caused by transportation in Venezuelan cities. It was truly an incredible respite.
Nuestro amigo Vladimir es uno de los guías líderes de este staff de Marejada y sin dudarlo, se ha convertido en un amigo que nos ha ayudado y acompañado en todos los destinos increíbles que hemos visitado. Siempre con una gran actitud y siempre presto a contarnos historias de otros viajes, grandes personalidades que conocieron o las vivencias diarias del equipo en lugares tan extraños en nuestro propio país, pero que pocos conocen o se han atrevido a investigar.
Our friend Vladimir is one of the lead guides of this Marejada staff and without hesitation, he has become a friend who has helped and accompanied us in all the incredible destinations we have visited. Always with a great attitude and always ready to tell us stories of other trips, great personalities they met or the daily experiences of the team in places so strange in our own country, but that few know or have dared to investigate.
La maravilla de estas playas es tanta que se han conservado limpias, sin cambios significativos durante décadas y los locales se han esforzado por mantener la magia por la cuales van miles a visitar las costas, un modo de vida conservacionista que también es necesario para mantener las tradiciones y folklore autóctonos, ya que sin la conservación el turismo se vería seriamente afectado. Pero no puedes visitar Cuyagua sin comerte un pescado frito o tomarte una increíble cocada hecha al momento en el negocio de “La Gata”.
The wonder of these beaches is so great that they have been kept clean, without significant changes for decades and the locals have strived to maintain the magic for which thousands go to visit the coasts, a conservationist way of life that is also necessary to maintain the traditions and folklore, because without conservation tourism would be seriously affected. But you can't visit Cuyagua without eating a fried fish or drinking an incredible cocada made at the time in the store of "La Gata".
Que increíble es dormir en carpas bajo un cielo estrellado que hace un año, en otro lugar maravilloso me vio ponerle un anillo en el dedo a la mujer que espero se mi compañera de vida por el resto de nuestros días.
El poder abrir los ojos y lo primero que escuchas es el sonido del mar es algo que te hace despreocuparte y solo vivir el momento apreciando todo cuanto vez y te acompaña. Una experiencia que espero poder vivir muchísimas veces más junto a más aventureros en lugares de ensueño y donde la naturaleza sea la predominante.
How incredible it is to sleep in tents under a starry sky that a year ago, in another wonderful place, saw me put a ring on the finger of the woman who I hope will be my life partner for the rest of our days.
Being able to open your eyes and the first thing you hear is the sound of the sea is something that makes you not to worry and just live the moment appreciating everything you see and accompanies you. An experience that I hope to live many more times with more adventurers in dreamlike places where nature is predominant.

Estuve en Cata, Cuyagua y Choroní, pero no llegué hasta la Ciénaga. Siento que debo conocerla.
