Babymoon : The Calming And Cheap Petitenget Beach

in Worldmappin4 days ago

Hello, guys!
In this post, i want to share a bit about my babymoon. I think that i didnt even talk about my honeymoon yet in here and yet here i am talking about babymoon. Life feels like a rollercoaster ride. Well, for our babymoon we choose to go to Bali. Me and my husband found each other in Bali, so Bali will always have a special place in our lil family. The other reason is also because i want to go to the beach! During my whole pregnancy, beaches in Bali is not the only one we visit. Here is the story about the beach i visit in Bali.

A month before, we went to beach in Anyer. I forgot the exact name of the beach because i feel so upset about it. They charged us 10 USD for parking a car when we enter the beach area. For the motorbike, i think its around 2 USD. That is the price for the parking only. If we want to sit in the small hut, we need to pay another 5 USD. I do understand about the hut since its a private property, but i dont understand about the parking. If you think it was the only beach that put such a high price for the parking in Anyer, you’re wrong because everyplace we go it will be similar price.

This is the parking (or entrance) ticket to one if the beach in Bali, only 2000 rupiah (12 cents). The difference were so high while this beach is cleaner and bigger than the one we visit in Anyer. This is not even a real entrance fee, its just parking free. If we decided to go to the beach by foot then we dont have to pay any fee. I am very proud of the people in Bali because they’re being honest about the parking fee of their beaches. If we think about how many foreigners come to the beaches in Bali compare to beaches in Anyer, it will be like 1 to 200 ratio. It will be really embarassing if they try to rip off people with the parking fee. Anyway since i was pregnant at the time, me and my husband decided that we only visiting the beach two times during the babymoon journey.

The beach we visited was Petitenget beach, located in Petitenget area. Its not that close to the area we were staying, we stayed in Canggu. The reason why we decided to go here is because my husband never visited this beach before while i took him to beaches in Canggu numerous times already. Beach in Canggu and Petitenget area was kinda similar. They dont have the clearest water or the cleanest sands. There’s nothing beautiful in the beaches. But, its always a good place to calm your heart, to run, to hang out, to party, and many orher things we can do in there. If we’re looking for exotic or beautiful beaches, clearly this is not the area for that.

Me and my husband walking for 3 km to the right, just talking and laughing while sometimes playing with the water that came brushing our feet. We were sitting down in a beach cafe we found. I dont remember the name of the cafe because we just sit randomly. I already felt the pain sensation on my stomach so we have to take a long rest before we were able to walk back again. We ordered one coconut and 1 french fries. We were plenty full of our lunch but we just feel awkward to be sitting and not ordering food. The drink after a long walk feel so refreshing. We were sitting and talking again waiting till my stomach feels better. I think that we were sitting for one and half hour in the beach cafe. This is also a fun experience because we got to see many people passing by in the beach and looking at the waves, we dont talk much in here and just enjoy each other company like that.

Our journey back is another tiring moment for the pregnant me, we were taking the walk real real slow because the pain in my stomach come after just few steps. Still, i dont regret it. The pain and exhaustment worth all the calmness i can feel inside of me. There’s nothing more peacefull than beaches for me. It helped my anxiety towards everything happened to me at the time. Just walking on the beach and i came home with so many things.

Last but not list, the real delicacy in Petitenget beach. This is lumpia. So far, i can only found this lumpia in this petitenget beach and sanur beach. I cant find this in other beach. If you’re visiting those two beach, dont forget to try this too, its good!
