La Union Getaway

in Worldmappin2 years ago (edited)

Hello there, fellas! I am new to the Hive Blog. As a result, please bear with me if I occasionally make mistakes. Last December, I visited La Union, the surfing capital of the Northern Philippines. We traveled there by car, which took us nearly 6 hours from Manila. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the good vibes, and it is also a great place for surfers.

The neighborhood's waves are suitable for surfers of all levels of experience, from novices to professionals. When you are done surfing, you may witness one of Luzon's most beautiful sunsets from the beach's dirty white sand. Because of the abundance of cafes, pubs, and other entertainment venues, the region exudes its own unique atmosphere.

You can catch a glimpse of one of the beautiful sunsets at Urbiztondo Beach. Even more stunning than the stars themselves is the color of the sky after the sun goes down.

We went swimming at the beach for an hour or so the next day. Because it was the weekend, it was a little crowded. The water was slightly warm, making it an ideal day for swimming and surfing.

Surfing is a great kind of exercise since you have a good time doing it. If you have been waiting for an English-speaking coach, this is your chance to discover a lot more than simply how to ride waves and paddle effectively. Get familiar with the ocean by learning about the water and the like.

La Union has many pet-friendly resorts. Shorebreak Hostel is one of them. Rates range from Php 4,000 to Php 10,000 - roughly $ 80 to $ 200. Therefore, there is no reason for you to leave your pet at home.

The bamboo tables at Kabsat La Union provide prime viewing of the action in the water. Paddlers can relax at this little café while taking in the breathtaking sunset after a long day on the water. They serve hearty dishes that you will love. It is located at North Shore, Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union.

With this kind of view, you will enjoy your dining experience at Kabsat even more. We decided to sit on the second floor to take in the breathtaking scenery. The sky is clear and blue, making today perfect for spending time outdoors.

A vacation to La Union is not complete without trying an acai bowl. Locals and visitors to La Union quickly went to Makai Bowls, a chain known for its nourishing and delicious acai bowls. Makai Bowls is not only the most innovative cuisine spot in the region, but they also prioritize the healthiness of their offerings. An acai bowl costs around Php 200 or $ 4.

Because of the inclement weather, we decided to return home early. However, people are still having fun - surfing, taking pictures, and simply enjoying the cold weather.

We decided to watch the sunset before leaving. It is lovely, and I am sure I will miss it.

Other Places To Visit in La Union:

Agoo Eco Fun World
Bahay na Bato
Baluarte Watchtower
Grape Farms
Ma Cho Temple
Nalvo Pebble Beach
Poro Point Lighthouse
Tangadan Falls
