Namaste 🇮🇳🙏🏻
Hello friends, how are you all ?? Wishing you all happy and prosperous life ahead.
Today i Would like share another amazing place of India Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, Delhi I had heard a lot about the Gurudwara, I wanted to go to the Gurudwara for a long time, I had gone there in my childhood, at that time with my parents when did not have the wisdom to understand and believe in Spirituality. I am a Hindu and have visited the temple many times but had splendid experience of Gurudwara was for the first time for me. What actually is Gurudwara is ?? the place where Sikhs come together for congregational worship, it indicates the Residence of Guru(lord)
Sikh house of worship, in Delhi, India, and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the holy pond inside its complex, known as the "Sarovar." It was rebuilt as a small shrine by Sikh General Sardar Baghel Singh in 1783. In the same year, there was reconstruction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi.
There were many questions in my mind and there was excitement because one of my wish lists was going to be fulfilled which was to go to Gurudwara. I had heard a lot about it and today I am experiencing it,
After entering there, we came to know that we have to go straight to the shoeroom where you have to deposit your shoes and socks. It was not allow to wear shoes and Socks inside the Gurudwara. There was a rule in the Gurudwara that you had to come with your head covered with dupatta, Shawl , scarf etc There you get a free piece of cloth from which you can cover your head.Since it was very cold, I had packed my scarf so there was no need to take clothes.
The entry of this Gurudwara was so peaceful that I forgot all the tensions and got completely immersed here,It is compulsory to wash your hands and feets before going to the Gurudwara.
This bangla is made of marble which has a completely white shine and beautiful carving work,The wall inside the Gurudwara was covered with 24 carat gold where photography and videography were strictly prohibited and to tell you the truth, I myself did not feel like taking out the camera,Seeing the beauty inside, my eyes were completely filled with tears and my mind became calm. I was feeling very good. I sat inside for about half an hour to connect myself with my Guru.
I was filled with joy after seeing such a beautiful place which is Direct connected to heaven.
After visiting the Gurudwara, I came outside where people were handing out hot kada prasad which is made up of Pure desi ghee and Whole Wheat flour.
There was also a free langar which means feed free food to lakhs of people,I got dal rice roti vegetable salad,Which was very tasty and I did not have to spend even a single penny to eat this. Around 500 people were also eating food with me. These people feed people free food throughout the day.
Those who enter the Gurudwara according to the Sikh people. They have to take bath in this pond,There were ladies and gents bathrooms here where you can change your clothes after bathing because it was very cold so I was not there. I had some sprinkle water drops on me.
You can see how nice the reflection of the Gurudwara is being made in the pound, really this view was very amazing, my eyes were filled with tears, I was feeling good, It seemed as if my soul had been purified here.
Pond was big and its water was clean. So many people go daily or take bath, still its water was clean.
I saw many so many big and small fishes and turtles in the water.
I was seeing beauty all around. I was trying to capture photos from every angle and share this amazing holy place of India with my hive family.
I have been to many temples. Even in India and after India, I have never seen such humble and down to earth people like in Gurudwara where you get free food, water, hospitality and all the services.
Thankyou 😀
