Hoy me gustaría trasladaros un poquito por mi ciudad natal en estas fechas. Ni que decir que cuando vuelvo a mi tierra, me siento dichosa. Aprovechamos siempre para visitar el centro de la capital y disfrutar de su ambiente, su gastronomía y sus pubs.
Today I would like to take you a little bit back to my hometown at this time of year. It goes without saying that when I go back to my homeland, I feel happy. We always take the opportunity to visit the centre of the capital and enjoy its atmosphere, its gastronomy and its pubs.
Me encanta pasear por las calles iluminadas y ver los espectáculos de luces que hay pero también perderme por las calles que tantas veces he recorrido en el pasado y ver como con los años, se han transformado.
I love to walk through the illuminated streets and see the light shows, but I also love to get lost in the streets that I have walked so many times in the past and see how they have been transformed over the years.
La ciudad tengo que decir que si era bonita ya en el pasado, ahora cada vez lo es más.
I have to say that if the city was beautiful in the past, it is becoming more and more so now.
Ya la mayor parte de las calles son peatonales y se puede pasear sin coches molestando por todos lados.
Most of the streets are now pedestrianised and you can stroll around without cars everywhere.
Para ir al centro hay que ser consciente de que tendrás que ir buscando hueco entre la gente y más en un gran puente como es el caso.
To get to the centre you have to be aware that you will have to find your way through the crowds, especially on a big bridge like this one.
Calle Larios esta adornada con unas columnas de lagrimas doradas y plateadas que hacen destellitos, en la zona central de cada una de ellas hay unos ángeles.
Tiene unos espectáculos de luces a juego con la música que atraen a muchísimos visitantes de otros rincones del planeta año tras año.
Calle Larios is adorned with columns of gold and silver teardrops that sparkle, with angels in the centre of each of them.
It has light shows to match the music that attract many visitors from all over the world year after year.
Las calles están engalanadas de pascuaros y guirnaldas luminosas.
The streets are decorated with Easter lights and luminous garlands.
En las calles transversales a calle Larios hay unos adornos para mi gusto exquisitos con unas lamparas de araña, una iluminación al detalle que me parece ideal junto a los edificios de siglo XVIII Y XIX.
In the cross streets of Calle Larios there are some exquisite decorations for my taste with chandeliers, a detailed illumination that seems to me ideal next to the buildings of the 18th and 19th century.
La catedral siempre que se ve, es una estampa.
The cathedral is always a sight to behold.
Por otro lado tenemos el ambientazo que hay siempre en los fines de semana en Málaga en su tipo más fiestero y divertido.
On the other hand we have the great atmosphere that there is always at weekends in Malaga in its most festive and fun type.
Las calles disfrutan de la música, luces y juventud.
The streets are alive with music, lights and youth.
Las salas de fiesta y restaurantes tienen prácticamente completas todas las mesas y esto hace que pasear por el centro te haga disfrutar de todo ello y te contagie el espíritu Navideño.
Sin lugar a dudas uno de los espectaculos de luces que no me pierdo nunca , es el de la catedral. Si tienes la oportunidad de visitar Málaga en estas fechas y vas con niños, es absolutamente parada obligatoria. 😉
The party halls and restaurants are practically full to capacity and this means that walking through the centre of the city makes you enjoy it all and gets you into the Christmas spirit.Without a doubt, one of the light shows that I never miss is the one at the cathedral. If you have the opportunity to visit Malaga at this time of year and you go with children, it is an absolute must. 😉
El espectáculo dura aproximadamente unos 15 o 20 minutos y hay partes en los que niños y mayores, bailamos y disfrutamos de lo lindo.
The show lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes and there are parts in which children and adults alike dance and have a great time.
