Hello everyone! I want to talk about my very first journey and how I managed to return home by myself. You see, I am the type of person who always needs someone to help me when I have to ride a bus, and I always carry my phone in case I get lost. So before the day of Christmas, I was told to accompany my sister so that she could get back to home where my dad stays. My mom gave me some instructions on what buses we should take, and I was really nervous about it. I could have never imagined that my sister and I would get a chance to travel without our parents. I helped my sister prepare her clothes and necessities, and we also went to town to pick up some snacks and claim her school records, for she wanted to transfer back to her old school. Afterwards, we went for an ice cream and had our last bonding together with our little sister. It's the day of our journey, and we woke up at 1 o'clock in the morning to have breakfast and get ready. My sister said goodbye to our family. We rode the motorcycle to the bus stop for 28 minutes, and luckily there were so many people there because of the simbang gabi. We thought the bus would pass by at 4 AM, but we waited for like 3 hours straight. At 6 AM, the bus arrived, and unfortunately there was only 1 seat left, so I let my sister occupy the seat. After 30 minutes, I was able to get a seat, three seats away from my sister. I was really worried that she might get unwell because she's not used to traveling. When we arrived at the bus terminal, I decided to sit beside her and leave my only seat, but when I was about to place my bag at the seat, my sister told me that someone was occupying the seat, and he just went down to buy something. And when I looked back at my seat, I found that someone had already occupied my seat. So I had to stand until we got to the ferry terminal. The bus driver gave us our ticket and told us to get inside the terminal to pay for the terminal fee and wait until we are allowed to get in our designated ship.

We took our lunch on the ship while enjoying the view. And when we reached Toledo City, we rode the bus again to Cebu City.We arrived there at almost 7 oclock in the evening due to traffic, and unfortunately we were not able to buy tickets for the next ferry.

My sister and I stayed in the pier until 5 a.m., for it is the earliest and first trip of the ferry in the morning. When we arrived at the next pier, which is at the Ormoc City and then we took a bus and tricycle to home. We finally saw our family and, of course, my father. And then, after a day, I had to travel back alone and it was really fun because there was just a few passengers in the open air area of the ship. I saw islands and eventhough its far away and can't be clearly captured by my phone's camera, but I can still see how beautiful those islands are.
