I spend my beach vacation on Antulang Beach Resort. I had the opportunity to visit myself with a relaxing beach escape at Antulang Beach Resort in Dumaguete, and let me just say that heaven was like this! It's super or simply great if you are looking for a place to unwind and lay under the sunlight.
I describe Antulang Beach Resort as a set of a stunning stretch of seashore, white sand beaches with perfectly clean waters. The resort itself is quite small, which I actually liked since it made the whole experience feel more personal and relaxing. There are several accommodation choices, ranging from cozy nipa huts to really spacious rooms with ocean views. I had a room with a balcony facing the beach and it was absolutely beautiful!
The resort features various fun activities, yet I found it advisable to spend the time just doing nothing. I lounged around the beach most of the time, swam in the ocean, and ate super meals that I bought.
If you are up for some adventure, there are plenty of things to see and do nearby. Snorkeling or diving, or just roam around the town of Dumaguete. I went on a day trip to Apo Island, which is considered one of the world's best snorkeling and diving sites. I will share to you my experiences during my visit there soon.
If you intend to visit during a peak season, you should book in advance, as the resort may fill up to capacity during this time. You can bring cash with you since it is fairly common, but a little cash in hand will help cover small purchases and to tip here and there hehe. Travel light bring things that is necessary like me since I walked around and exploring this place, which makes a heavy bag just an obstacle. Comfortable shoes will be a must for walking on the beaches and about town, pack those too. Remember sunscreen and a wide hat for protection from the intense sunlight. Most of all, be relaxed, enjoy your stay in this resort, pretty much absorb all the beauty around you and bask in sunlight.
Very easy to get to Antulang Beach Resort. It takes about 30 minutes from Dumaguete City by car. Take the tricycle or jeepney from the city center. Just let the driver know "Antulang Beach Resort," and they would know where you are headed.
Antulang Beach Resort has just lived up to all its expectations. It was really a place where I could just spend time running away from the stress and anxiety of daily living. If you are looking for a beach vacation in the Philippines, I could absolutely recommend this beach.
