[ESP-ING] Getting to Know the Snail Waterfall ✨

Ahora sí amigos, les contaré todo al respecto de mi full day. Nos dirigimos en esta ocasión a la cascada caracol ubicada en San Antonio estado Monagas. Hicimos el recorrido con la empresa @viveplusvzla y @soyadventure , que los pueden encontrar en Instagram.

Now friends, I will tell you all about my full day. This time we went to the Caracol waterfall located in San Antonio, Monagas state. We did the tour with the company @viveplusvzla and @soyadventure.

Son dos chicos súper amables y atentos los que llevan el viaje. El día empezó a las 5:30 cuando uno de ellos pasó por nosotras en casa y luego fuimos buscando al resto, cuando ya estuvo todo el grupo pudimos salir a San Antonio en un viaje que duró como 2 horas (porque queda aquí mismo en mi ciudad), nos paramos a desayunar y luego fuimos directamente al sitio, en dónde nos dieron todo el equipo para poder hacer el canyoning.

There are two super nice and attentive guys who lead the trip. The day started at 5:30 when one of them picked us up at home and then we went looking for the rest, when the whole group was ready we could leave for San Antonio in a trip that lasted about 2 hours (because it is right here in my city), we stopped for breakfast and then went directly to the site, where they gave us all the equipment to be able to do the canyoning.

Para llegar a caracol tuvimos que caminar y atravesar varias pozas, incluyendo algunos saltos como el de la virgen (que yo no me atreví a saltar porque eso es bastante hondo y yo no sé nadar, o más bien flotar 😅). Pero cada una era más hermosa que la otra, tuvimos que subir algunas escaleras, y no pude sacar tantas fotos porque durante el recorrido lo que más haces es mojarte obviamente y no queríamos dañar nada.

To get to caracol we had to walk and cross several pools, including some jumps like the virgin (which I didn't dare to jump because that's pretty deep and I don't know how to swim, or rather float 😅). But each one was more beautiful than the other, we had to climb some stairs, and I couldn't take that many pictures because during the tour what you do the most is get wet obviously and we didn't want to damage anything.

En una de las paradas pude sentir directamente como caía el agua de una de las cascadas y de verdad que fue increíble, no me podía creer que estuviera ahí. Cabe destacar que el grupo con el que hicimos el full day fue genial, nos reímos muchísimo y la pasamos muy bien.

At one of the stops I could feel the water falling directly from one of the waterfalls and it was really incredible, I couldn't believe I was there. It is worth mentioning that the group with whom we did the full day was great, we laughed a lot and had a great time.

La última parada fue la más increíble, que era caracol, y cuando la ví quedé asombrada de lo hermoso que se veía, con decirles que incluso salté y se sintió demasiado mágico, el agua estaba súper fría pero sabrosa.

The last stop was the most incredible, which was snail, and when I saw it I was amazed at how beautiful it looked, to tell you that I even jumped in and it felt too magical, the water was super cold but tasty.

Ya después de ahí nos dirigimos a hacer el canyoning desde la cascada más alta, y era mi primera vez, por lo que estaba muy nerviosa pero emocionada. Estaba un poco asustada, pero todo salió genial y amé la experiencia, y lo más importante es que los chicos estuvieron al tanto de todo y nos enseñaron todo el proceso.

After that we went canyoning from the highest waterfall, and it was my first time, so I was very nervous but excited. I was a little scared, but everything went great and I loved the experience, and the most important thing is that the guys were on top of everything and taught us the whole process.

Ya para culminar volvimos al inicio a secarnos y prepararnos para ir a almorzar, porque de ahí salimos a las 3:30 más o menos. El almuerzo estuvo súper sabroso y nuevamente nos dedicamos a hablar con el grupo y a pasarla bien. Luego nos montamos en el carro y salimos directamente a Maturin, en dónde nuevamente uno de los chicos nos dejó en la puerta de la casa. Le doy un 10/10 a esta experiencia y esperando poder hacer otra luego.

At the end we went back to the start to dry off and get ready to go to lunch, because we left at 3:30 or so. Lunch was super tasty and again we talked with the group and had a good time. Then we got in the car and went directly to Maturin, where again one of the guys left us at the door of the house. I give this experience a 10/10 and hope to do another one later.
