*just yesterday I had these photos that I had taken a few months ago on Lake Dobbiaco in Val Pusteria.*

So I decided to share them with you by doing this article where we go to the discovery of this beautiful alpine lake which is located about 100 kilometers from Bolzano.

In my experience, I recommend that you visit it in the summer because it is a cool place while in winter it is too cold and I recommend that you go around the lake which is a very pleasant walk lasting about 20 minutes a lot. simple to do especially for families with children.

Of course it is a very small body of water and is located near the town of the same name at about 1100 meters above sea level. It naturally formed naturally thanks to several landslides that have occurred over the years.

Then if you do not fear the cold you can also come in winter so you will take a beautiful walk over the completely frozen lake.

You just have to be careful not to fall into it because I warn you that the lake is more than 3.5 meters deep so you have to be very good at swimming.

During the Second World War, several bunkers were built around the lake by Mussolini to protect this way of entry into Italy, and I don't know if they can be visited and in what conditions they are the only thing I noticed that I returned to the lake. information boards of the Fauna and Flora that are located there near the lake.

These didactic paths are useful not only for us adults but also for children to learn about nature and what can be found within it.

I hope, as always, that I have been useful to you in planning a possible visit to Lake Dobbiaco, it is a really place to visit and not to be missed for a possible trip to Italy.
