I really do have a love/hate relationship with Autumn. On one hand, it is truly special part of the year, but with what costs. Days are getting shorter and colder. In many parts of the world, rainy season kicks in and some form of depression kicks in.
It also represents end of holidays and start of a new school year. I remember looking out of window, watching leafs fall as teachers were "torturing" us with their boring classes.
But let's go back to my lovely day in the Swiss Alps shall we...
I have never spend whole Summer in Alps. I've always had better things to do than working. But hey, sometimes it is what it is and now, I am glad that I had the chance to be here and experience something, which is truly another world compared to wintertime. The contrast this latitude provides is stunning.
So I am actually recovering from a minor ankle injury and was forced to sit on my butt a lot in last two weeks. Luckily, it wasn't really anything bad and I am riding around with my bike again.
In fact, it was a while I wasn't around and about and in one of mine usual "shopping trips" I took a longer way than usual to visit places I remembered from Summer. What a change. You can in fact go to my other posts from Switzerland to see it for yourself. I have visited almost the same places and it is another world.
The mountains are now playing with much bigger plato of colors than grey and green.
I was hoping to swim in the river for one last time. But didn't find balls to go in as I remember how cold it was already back in August. So I drank my tea sunbathing abound a bit, read some books in German, that I took with me and recharged myself for another half of my day-trip.
Local villages are also something to mention. People here take great care of their homes and gardens. It might look somehow fake at times. I am a fan of nature and some kind of randomness, which almost doesn't exist here under Swiss watch. Everything has its laws and order and people follow the rules constantly and precisely. Well you can be your own judge looking at my pictures...
In fact it has been a while, I didn't posted here and I wanted to test how Travelfeed/hive is doing during this bear market. I will soon be jobless again (lucky me) and might post more frequently, with higher value added. Some big travels probably awaits me and I can't wait to share my stories with you in the near future.
So, as for some final words, long live travel blogging, open borders and all the adventurers out there.
Until next time,
Global Local

these photos are lovely. Incredible scenes. Autumn is truly here. I'm new in Europe, what's the weather like over there? I hope it is warm.
Thanks. It is indeed still warm, but not for much longer I am afraid...
