If the famous scenic spot is the heart of the city, then the lively market is the lively blood of the city.
The city life, customs, and customs are all "staged" here in the most local and grounded manner. It is a window for us to "see" a city.
1.Hong Kong-North Point Market
North Point is located on the north shore of Hong Kong Island, with Victoria Harbour in the north, Xing Fat Street and Watson Road in the west, and the junction of King's Road and Man Sun Street in the east.
In North Point, what you see is the simple complex of Hong Kong people, which has faded away from the prosperity of Central, and what you see here is the original Hong Kong flavor.
A narrow street market, only because the ding-ding cars will pass through it, creating an alternative style.
One side is a temporary street vendor selling all kinds of bags and clothes, and the other is a fixed store of vegetables, meat and fruits. Cargo delivery, unloading, garbage collection... Various market scenes are staged vividly every day.
2.Cambodia-Sihanoukville Night Market
I am most afraid of food gathering places!
Regardless of such a small seaside city, the nightlife is exceptionally lively. Happened to catch up with a music festival held by a certain beer brand, and the night sky of the city was dancing with passion.
The small vendors on both sides of the road seem to have been beaten up, and the surging crowd will surely bring good business tonight. Snacks that are too local do not dare to try easily, such as those that can't even see the raw materials.
The locusts and grasshoppers are full of slightly sweet protein flavor. If you temporarily let go of the "prejudice" about identity, you really can't stop it, but you really have to take it in your hand and look carefully, I'm afraid that you won't even have the remaining courage.
3.Adelaide-Central Market
Australia's oldest market
Every time I go to a city, in addition to having a "sense of existence" for iconic landmarks or scenic spots, the most favorite place is the market. Only there, foreigners and locals do not distinguish each other.
Fresh fruits and vegetables are neatly arranged and priced for sale; various local ingredients are available at reasonable prices and diverse choices. Especially for some stalls that have been in business for a long time, business has long been not just a simple transaction, but a mixed human touch.
It is not difficult to imagine that, like the Central Market, the largest vegetable market in the southern hemisphere with a history of over a hundred years, the story of the years can probably be written into a heavy book!
The Central Market is located in Chinatown and gathers many high-end ingredients in South Australia. It is "favored" by restaurant chefs and is naturally the favorite place for housewives. These are not my rhetoric. After two o'clock in the afternoon, people are still coming and going in the market, and there is no "siesta".
The ingredients here are so rich and tempting, just walking around for a while makes me feel the urge to cook. If I live in Adelaide that day, my cooking skills will definitely improve. From fresh vegetables and fruits to meat, seafood, wine, coffee, dried fruits...everything I want to take home.
4.Paris-Christmas Market
Only once a year!
Every year from more than a month before Christmas, it is the busiest moment of winter on the Champs Elysées.
In fact, this is the custom throughout Europe. In addition to all kinds of exquisite festive items, various handicrafts, and traditional festive wines and food, the Christmas market is the place that best reflects the Christmas atmosphere in Europe.
In the bustling crowd, traditional festive food is the "wings" of the Champs Elysees. The air is domineeringly captured by the aroma of mulled wine, drifting past the Eiffel Tower, passing through the Arc de Triomphe, and launching an "attack" towards the whole of Paris.
