Greetings worldmappin travelers around the Globe, today is very historical travel I did because I deciced to visit the Abandoned Camp Site of Guirilla Fighters in Lugait, Misamis Oriental. The location of this Abandoned camp site is not really far from Main road and it only needs to walk a few meters away before reaching the place. Many centuries has past when this place was totally abandoned by Guirilla fighters, people who fought back in the Second World War. There are lot of changes of the place just like the vegetation and forestry areas and this was once an open field perfect as camping site. This place is located at the top rock cliff near at Calangahan coastal areas and it contains a great over views of the place that even roads can be seen through here. It is quitely far from houses and commercial establishments. This place is not only a historical areas but it is also a boundary between Municipalities of Manticao and Lugait.

Centuries has past when the place was abandoned, according to the elder people, this place was once an open site on which there are no big and tall trees can be seen that time. Soldiers that time cut those trees so they can see the entire place and can easily seen the enemies below. But now, the open field areas are now covered with lots of big trees, it brings the place cool and relaxing and as for that this trees are now preserved. Most of the trees can be seen and found here are Molave, Acacia, Mahogany, Balete and even Germilina tree. Because of that, the site was completely covered with thick grass and tall trees but despite of that it is still perfect areas for Camping trips under this big and wide trees.

This road is located near at the Coastal area and from here, it can see the coastal areas and the wide seascapes. On the left side of the road are the tall rock walls were lots of bonsai plants grows, aside of that wild animals like Snakes, Wild cats can be seen here. There are also some wild flower plants grows here and it gives to the place a fascinating views.

This plain place was once a camping site were barracks made of light materials built. This place is facing to the sea, but as many centuries has past, the place is now completely turned into an agricultural land. Structures are already demolished and gone and the only thing can be seen here now are lots of coconut trees. This area is also perfect place for camping trips because of the plain areas and a great views of the sea.

This was once a baywalk were people walked and wait for the sailing small boats arrived at the shore. This place is built with Ashphalt that served as a road built at the big solid coral rocks. The baywalk here was long and it connects Barangay Punta Silum where the Lamesahan Place can found and Barangay Calangahan. Now, the place is now perfectly sunked by sea water every hightide living some Black Parts of the road.

Sands and peebles are deposited at the place because of the big waves happens here. As for that, there are lots of tourist visited the place, doing swimming and fishing adventure. Children will really have an enjoyable time playing to the sand by making sand castle. Even today, the place remains its beauty even if the original scenes like Old camp site is gone and vanished it is still good and perfect to visit because of its wonderful views.

Thank you for a visit to my post, have a nice and safe travel to everyone.
