Paniangan Water Dam and Steel Bridge in Barangay Paniangan, Manticao Misamis Oriental

Greetings worldmappin travelers around the Globe, infrastructure is very important to our society. This can also indicates about a progressive place. Here in Manticao Misamis Oriental, this town contains a long river and it connected many places here in Manticao. Bridges are very important here and in terms of irrigations, Dams are the best structure to irrigate water in the Field. One of the most fascinating and popular steel bridge here is located at Barangay Paniangan Manticao Misamis Oriental. It connected between the two Zones in Barangay Paniangan and aside of that, residents can cross the river using this bridge even if there is a big flood.

Paniangan still bridge is located at Zone 2 Barangay Paniangan and it is not quite far from Provincial road. It takes a few minutes of traveling riding on motorcycles, Private cars or even trucks. Each side of the place is opposite, the first site of the place are lots of houses can be seen while on the other side of the place is a wide and spacious agricultural land.

This bridge is made of solid steel coated with red paint so it wont get rusty, big cables are also attached and supported the weight of the bridge. Vehicles like motorcycles and Bikes can crossed by the bridge. On each side of the bridge are big solid concrete, it help the steel bridge stretch perfectly and the cables can attached so it wont easily broke specially when there is a flood. The floor of the bridge is also made of solid steel attached by putting bolts on it. Wires are also used as a fence of the bridge so children will be safe and wont fall to the water.

Each side of the river particularly near at the steel bridge, there are lots of big trees grows. In fact, some parts of the place is very perfect for camping trips. Big trees can gives a cool and shady areas and aside of that, there are lots of wild animals like birds perching and making nests on tree branches. Near at the bridge, there are also some shallow and deep water and children really loves to swim. This place is also perfect spot to catch lots of fish because of the shallow and steady water at the place. Tons of rocks and sands can be seen and found here and a thick wild grass grows near at the cliff.

On the left side of the place is supported with solid concrete as a dike, it will help and avoid soil erosions or collapsing due to strong floods. This is a part of the structure so the steel bridge wont be damage And collapsing with the help of this solid concrete dike. The structure built in slant position so it wont easily broke and washed away by strong current of water.

Near at the steel bridge is the fascinating Water dam. It was built almost 40 years and until now, the dam still intact and ready to use specially by water irrigations at the rice field. It is made of solid concrete piled with big rocks and a solid concrete riverbeds near at the dam. There are lots of people loves to swim here and seating at the dam. Some parts of the structure are already covered with moss.

Builders and Enginers decided to built this series of blocks and hole direct to the irrigation areas. There is a small concrete and metal doors installed and when it opens, the water will flowed to the Manhole and in long tunnel directly to the filled. This is the best contributions give by this water dam and aside of that it keeps the place more attractive to other people. Until next post, thank you for stopping by.
