Wow! I have never even thought about old subs or even new subs but this got me wondering a lot. Can you imagine living with a bunch of dudes in that cramped space? I can and I already want to punch Steven for chewing too loud and Dave for constantly asking what the weather is like up there.
I also have never even asked myself how they submerge when they are full of air. I will be looking that up next.
Do you live in NH? I have only been there once and didn't get to the ocean. I used to be a long haul trucker and got sent there for a load. It was right near a Nascar track. I remember being surprised to come upon it.
Ah the track in Epping! Love that place, I know some people that live right near there. It’s been a while since I’ve been to that spot! We live in New England right now, yeah! Get to enjoy all kinds of stuff but we are planning on moving south in the coming months to a year hopefully. Not specifically sure where yet but in the thought of that we have been going out and exploring as much of the stuff around us as we can and documenting the cool stuff on here!
The subs are crazy, back in those days you were allotted one gallon of water a day I think it was. That included showering! Lol so that meant you were taking dry showers, using a little bit of water and washing your face and stuff. Must have smelled wonderful! I don’t know if I saw where the toilets were but that must have been another crazy situation lol.
