I chose BJT as a starting point as it was next to my hotel. it is in an old renovated building, housing many small enterprises.
From lovely fresh fruit and vegetables
To yeuch, urgh, I feel ill: fish!
There were several antique and vintage stalls too, most of whom had a "no photography" sign in front
This is not an antique!
There are eateries too
Let's venture on.
Strolled through Balti Park, to get to the city centre.
It was my good fortune as I bumped into, that fabulous 90's British Pop sensation Steps taking a break from their gruelling European comeback tour.
"We still got it" remarked "H" to the gathering onlookers "join in you know the words"
"5,6,7,8,...... my rooting tooting baby............
It was all too much for me I had to lie down
Tragedy
Interesting Fact: Faye Tozer of said Steps , has pierced nipples.
This is not, I repeat not Ms Tozer.
I need not have been concerned , the streets were bereft of people.
The biggest danger I faced was walking on the uneven cobblestones; this is not the place to visit if one is tottering around in stiletto heeled shoes!
I didn't notice the ghostly orbs at the time
It was whilst strolling down these fairy tale streets that I came across a quaint little vinyl shop, I had to stop and reminisce, memories of my childhood came flooding back, hitting me like a force 10 gale.
These albums were totally shite, but I saved up money from my paper round, bought them frequently; and not just for the artwork on the sleeve.
The tracks were as listed, but not by the actual artists or bands, but some "sing a like", that sounded absolutely fuck all like the real thing. Spinning at 33 1/3 RPM, in quality Hi-Fi stereo. Now That's What I Call Music It Wasn't
Maybe I did buy them for the artwork! Ahhh teenage wet dreams.
When I got to where I was going it was great to stumble upon a local craft fare.
I have nothing but the greatest of admiration for people like this, striving to bring life to the community as well as trying to eke out an existence alongside the world of globalist corporate greed.
All manner of local hand made produce were on display, none of this cheap poorly made crap churned out from some Cambodian sweat shop, nothing stamped "made in china"
I am now the proud owner of some little wooden fishes and a mug, I would have bought a frying pan clock too, only ryanair are pretty strict on the weight allowance.
I ❤️ all things artisan
A great little break from climbing through windows
"Hi, I'm Fat Margaret" and I am a 16th century cannon tower"
" Hi I'm Faye from Steps, and my boobies set off airport security alarms"
Greetings from Estonia once again :D
Have you been to the Rakvere Castle yet?
Hi, no I did not visit, and I'm back in the uk now

Aside that, I find the most enjoyable pictures to be the ones showing people. There's just sth so raw and genuine about seeing people from distant places living their lives.
