Wow a turtle in Canada ! I don’t remember seeing them around, only in zoos maybe? I tried some nice wines from okanagan valley before. Kelowna looks a nice place hopefully isn’t so hot like here today hehehe

Okanagan is generally warmer than Calgary but when it's hot there are much more lakes to enjoy. Some of the wines are half decent too, we got a bottle that won some award and will open it up in the fall, I prefer beer in the Summer. Turtles are quite abundant in Ontario and Eastern Canada, there are a few different species and you would see them in every lake, pond or stream including some massive snapping turtles. In Alberta, they would only naturally be south of Medicine Hat, winters are too harsh here.
