On foot to Iran - eastern Armenia and Path of Legends

Path of legends - this is the name for the way from village Khndzoresk to three thousand mountain Khustup.

This path has been built three years ago by People in need to support tourism and local people.

I walked this path from Goris to Khustup for 8 days and realized how nice and kind are local people (I spent 1 night in great family, one night with guys on a barbecue, a lot of people invited me for a drink or some food), saw a lot of monuments from old monasteries to abandoned villages (especially Old Khot took my breath away), but it was also crazy hot and I was twice awaken by voices and lights on a place where I will really don't expect human presence.

Reward for these days was ascent on Khustup with beautiful sunrise 🙂

Stezka legend - to je putování z vesnice Khndzoresk na třítisícovku Khustup.

Tuto stezku tu vybudoval před 3 lety Člověk v tísni na podporu turismu a místních lidí.

Já po ní z Gorisu putoval 8 dnů, poznal, jak úžasní a pohostinní jsou místní lidé (strávil jsem jednu noc v úžasné rodině, další na grilování, spousta lidí mě zvala na pití a jídlo), poznal spoustu památek od starobylých klášterů po opuštěné vesnice (hlavně Starý Khot mi opravdu vyrazil dech), ale taky zažil šílená vedra a dvakrát mě v noci na místě, kde bych to opravdu nečekal, probudily světla a hlasy. Odměnou byl výstup na horu Khustup s nádherným východem slunce 🙂
