Kazbegi
After unsuccessful ascent to Tetnuldi we spent about 15 hours in marshrutka and taxi and in the late evening we arrived to Stepantsminda.
From there we started 3days adventure with sleeping in 3 000 and 3 800 m leading to the summit of Kazbegi. On the D day we woke up at 1 am and after watching beautiful sky full of stars and big breakfast at 2:30 we started ascent. After straying between crevasses and jumping over them (and my unwilling bath in the water up to the knees and broken crampon right below the summit) we stood on the top at 9:00 and we could finally see the beauty around 🙂
We ordered great weather, too beautiful for the descent so we all ended with variously strong sunstroke, but despite this we got back to Stepantsminda and another adventure waited for us 🙂

Po neúspěšném výstupu na Tetnuldi jsme strávili asi 15 hodin v maršrutce a taxíku a během jednoho dne se přesunuli z Mestie přes Tbilisi až do Stepantsmindy.
Odtud jsme pak zahájili 3denní výstup nahoru na horu se spaním ve 3 000 a 3 800 metrech. V den D byl budíček z půlnoci posunut na jednu hodinu ráno, po kochání úžasnou oblohou a vydatné snídani jsme ve 2:30 vyrazili a po bloudění a přeskakování trhlin (a mé nedobrovolné koupeli po kolena ve vodě a rozbité mačce těsně pod vrcholem) jsme v 9:00 stanuli na vrcholku a mohli si vychutnávat tu nádheru 🙂
Objednali jsme si krásné počasí, na sestup až moc krásné, tak jsme to všichni odskákali různě silným úpalem, ale zvládli jsme i ve zdraví sestoupit a pokračovat v dalším dobrodružství 🙂

Měli jsme dost štěstí na počasí, tyhle hory mají svoje klima a většinou není vidět nic. Jen mě mrzí, že pár dnů po našem výstupu tam dali kříž, tak příště 😃

Wow 3800m, that's a wonderful hike, friend. The scenery is so beautiful. The mountains covered with snow is the thing we never see in Vietnam. Thanks for sharing.
3 800 was just a sleeping spot, mountain is 5 047 m high 😃 And visiting Vietnam is also one of my dreams 🙂
