Tetnuldi, 4 858 m
On 13 August, two of my friends arrived to Georgia and I was really happy to see them after 4 months 🙂 Second day we got to Tetnuldi as planned. And I must say that we didn't make it to the top of this beautiful mountain. But this is also life and human must sometimes bend before power of nature and mountains, which sometimes make us happy from reaching the summit, another time they give us a lesson how small we are compared to them. Simply, sometimes mountain says NO and you can do nothing about it. It's not everytime about reached high and summits but sometimes it's simply about getting down safe, which took place this time. But we really enjoyed that, we had a lot of fun together, beautiful sunsets and gained new experiences 🙂
And why we must give up? On the glacier it's such little snow and we must go just during the night when the snow is not melting and this will be at least for 3 days and we didn't have time and also food for that. The worst part was 70% steep slope through where we must also descent and after sunrise it won't be safe at 99 %. Right under this slope was big crevasse so every step must be 100%.

V polovině srpna, konkrétně 13., za mnou do Gruzie přiletěli kamarádi a já tak po 4 měsících viděl známé tváře 🙂 Jak bylo v plánu, hned druhý den jsme vyrazili směr Tetnuldi. A musím říct, že na vrchol této nádherné hory jsme se bohužel nedostali. Nicméně i tohle patří k životu a člověk se občas musí sklonit před mocí přírody a majestátem hor, které nám někdy dopřejí radost z dosažení vrcholu, jindy nám zase udělí cennou lekci jak jsme oproti nim nicotní. Jednoduše když hora řekne NE, můžete mít sebelepší vybavení, fyzičku a zkušenosti. Není to vždy jen o nastoupaných metrech a dosažených vrcholcích, ale hlavně o tom, dostat se zase bezpečné dolů, což byl tentokrát i náš případ. Ale i tak jsme si to užili, zažili spoustu srandy, krásné západy slunce a nasbírali další cenné zkušenosti 🙂
Vzdali jsme to z toho důvodu, že na ledovci je strašně málo sněhu a museli bychom jít jen v noci, kdy sníh alespoň jakž takž drží a výstup by se se sestupem protáhl minimálně na 3 dny, na což jsme neměli ani čas, ani dostatek jídla. Nejhorší úsek byl asi 70% svah nad ledovcovým platem, kudy bychom po východu slunce a zahřátí sněhu na 99 % nedokázali bezpečně sestoupit, navíc přímo pod tímto svahem zela velká trhlina, takže jsme si nemohli dovolit jediný chybný krok.
Vidět po takové době vesměs samotářského života známé tváře musela být velká psychologická vzpruha :) Ale je dobře, že u vás nakonec zvítězila pokora a respekt k Matce Přírodě. Pokoušet hranice její laskavosti se občas nevyplácí ;)
