Have you cheated?
Cheating is a big word that has a big consequence when committed. It may be in exams or in work, cheating is prohibited. But how about cheating for happiness? Would it still be considered a sin?
Last weekend, I cheated. It was a gloomy day. My mood was as upset as the weather. But my beau and I decided to pursue our plan to travel somewhere. With a little budget in our pocket, we agreed to spend lesser as much as possible. Then, Vima Shore shone bright upon my mind. So, to Vima Shore, we gooooo!
Vima Shore, Catmon, Cebu
Vima (pronounced as vaima ) is a food park located along the national road in the municipality of Catmon. It has food vendor partners that offer varied sumptuous foods and drinks. It has fresh ambiance as it is located in the seashore.
How to get there?
Via public utility vehicle: From the city, go to the north bus terminal, ride a bus going northern Cebu. Tell the driver to drop you off in Vima Shore in Catmon. It will take you around two hours to travel.
Via private vehicle: Navigate the maps for easier access.
You would see this signage from the road, so there's no reason to get lost.
What they offer
Vima Shore has five food vendor partners namely: Jay R Native Chicken, Happy We Cafe, Beerada, V&C Coffee and Milk Tea Bar and La Cusinita Del Mar. Each food stalls has different food servings, different stall designs yet offers only one goal: a hangout spot by the sea to enjoy and relax.
I bet these other food stalls offer delicious foods and drinks too. I will surely come back and try these too!
Further, you would be remind to keep healthy. A health protocol was posted in a coconut tree facing the crowd.
As I mentioned from my previous blogs, I always looked for amenities like comfort rooms. I believe this is a very important room for all for comfort. It also looked clean and native in the outside. This is a plus point to me as a low-budget traveler.
You might wonder how did I cheat?
It was late in the afternoon but too early for dinner, so we decided to grab a light snacks in V&C Coffee and Milk Tea Bar. The staff were very friendly and approachable. This was were the cheating came in. This food stall made me do it. Because of their service, I cheated my budget and spent them on foods. They are all affordable. I tell you, their foods all looked enticing and mouth-drooling.

Their native-look ambience will invite you to take an order. They serve snacks, combo meals, coffee and drinks. You are not going to go home with an empty stomach even if you are on a tight budget because this stall got you.
There also a bar counter where you can savour your cold bottle of beer.
When you enter to their stall, you can read quotations and wall frames about coffee. The vibes were so aesthetic.
But, Oh! Coffee! My heart melted.
Are you also a coffee lover like me? This stall can also brew coffee and satisfy your coffee addiction.
Their over-all atmosphere is instagrammable. Come visit this place one day. You'll surely have a good time.
While waiting for our orders to be served, I roamed around the shore. It was cold and cloudy. So there were no customers aside from us. Even though the place is near the road, but the sound of the waves were even louder than the sound of the vehicles that passed by. The cold breeze will make you feel hungry, long for a hot cup of coffee, or drink a frozen bottle of beer. This place is perfect!
The benches which are made from bamboo are ready to cater circle of friends, families, couples and workmates. This place is the best for a hangout after a long and tiring day.
Also, I bet this swinging chair can make you fall asleep while listening to the music.

After minutes of waiting, the food was ready to serve. My beau was ready to bite, but wait, Hold it! Let me take some photos!
We ordered Lamaw ( a combo meal of cup of rice, Siomai, pork lumpia, boiled egg topped with crunchy chicharon ) for two, a bavarian dough nut with choco filling, and strawberry and apple juice which was a 10/10 to us.
It was one of a hella-yummy food I've ever tasted. Indeed, a cheat day!
Oh! I forgot to tell you, their choice of music was awesome. I didn't want to go home yet.
Sometimes we forget to give ourselves a break. Cheating will never be good if you stooped someone down and if your intentions were bad. However, If you cheat for yourself by giving small reward after tirelessly working, then, it's not bad to do that. I called it cheating for happiness.
Go get a good food. Go take a travel. Go talk with your missed friends. Go buy yourself nice clothes. These are the small rewards you could ever give to yourself.

Today was my cheat day so seeing your post doesn't affect me as much as it would happen on any other day hahaha, because I'm a very greedy person when it comes to food ๐

Yes! A lot of times already, guilty, here, guilty here ๐ญ haha.
And to be honest, mahilig din ako mag cheat when it comes sa paggastos. Yong naka set na budget for today kaso biglang mag crave sa ganito, ganiyan, lol.
By the way, the place looks good. Ganda din ng ambience. Sarap wari tumambay lalo if may kutkutin.
