Great day everyone! Hope you had a great day same as mine ☺️.What a beautiful morning to travel again, are you also thinking of travelling out of the country but some things are not on your side as of the moment, well I know a place where you do not need of passport, visa or a big budget to experience.
Come and I will show you where you can experience travelling to Japan.
There is a tourist spot in the highlands of Babag Uno lies the newest attraction in town that features some of Japan’s famous attractions for tourists and Cebuanos to enjoy. It’s called Sachiko’s Little Kyoto.
Although the name itself suggests that the place is like a smaller version of Kyoto, there’s more to see and experience in Sachiko’s Little Kyoto.
So Let's Go and Explore Sachiko's Little Kyoto.
Upon entering Sachiko's Little Kyoto you will the souvenir shop where you can buy mugs, wood mirrors, keychains and many more their prices range from 50 to 180 pesos.
Don't worry about your safety because Sachiko's Little Kyoto has there Police assistance desk to maintain the peace of the place and secure the safety of the tourists.
Then on the right side of the souvenir shop, they have kimonos that you can rent for 150 pesos to complete your travel in Little Kyoto and experience roaming around Japan wearing kimonos.
on the left side of the souvenir shop is the Entrance to the Tori gate, Tori is a traditional gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to sacred.
Then on the left side of the Kimono House, this Temizuya, Temizuya is a ritual before entering the Japanese Shrine you will scoop water using the provided ladle and rinse it to your hands and mouth but the water is not drinkable.
they also have this wall of letters where people write their wishes and I also wish that someday I will be a professional teacher with license.
beside the Tori gate, there is a cute signage of directions where you can easily notice where you're next destination.
on the Left side of the Tori gate, you will see the statue of Hachiko, Hachiko is a Japanese Akita Dog remembered for his remarkable loyalty to his owner. Hidesaburo Ueno for whom he continued to wait for over nine years following Ueno's death.
Then on the right side of the Tori gate is the Daruma Doll, it is a round, hollow, Japanese traditional doll modelled after Bodhidharma the founder of the Zen tradition of Buddhism, Daruma has a design that is rich in symbolism and is regarded more as a Talisman of good luck to the Japanese Daruma dolls. Daruma Dolls are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck making them a popular gift of encouragement.
Then we proceed to the popular Japan Sakura also known as cherry blossoms, Sakura is a special flower for the country and people, cherry blossoms are a symbolic flower of the spring, a time of renewal, and the fleeting nature of life. their life is very short. after their beauty peaks around two weeks, the blossoms start to fall.
On the top of the Little Kyoto, you will see the Pagoda and the Lying Buddha, I tried to take a photo of the Pagoda but it's too crowded so if you visit the Little Kyoto there is also a Pagoda and inside is the sitting Buddha.
You may also opt to light an incense as offering to the Buddha to invoke a prayer and thanksgiving. The Lying Buddha depicts the Buddha in his last earthy moments awaiting the journey to Nirvana, after achieving enlightenment.
The place is also kid-friendly they have a Mickey Mouse which little girls will love and an anime statue for the boys.
They will also play music just like in Japan I was confused at that time because I kept thinking about where that sound coming from. Because I don't see the speaker or something that will produce that music. But finally, I know where that sound comes from, they make an artificial stone that they put inside the Speaker.
Before I forgot they have also these popular Lucky Cats everyone knows these especially those who have a business, the Maneki-Neko is a common Japanese figurine which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. In modern times, they are usually made of ceramic or plastic. the figurine depicts a cat traditionally a calico Japanese bobtail, with a paw raised in a Japanese beckoning gesture.
Prepared to be amazed at Little Kyoto as well the Staff of Little Kyoto kudos to them for being approachable and accommodating to their guest, The place is worth the travel.
So now I will go home and cook some ramen at home, See you again in my next blog everyone thank you for reading my blog, and don't forget to support me by reblogging and upvoting this blog, God bless you all 💛.
