Hi all hive blog friends, I'm very happy to be back @helmihive , in advance I really apologize to everyone because I am not disciplined in making posts, because I am busy with lecture activities followed by work, actually I don't want that, but I will try to change it to be more disciplined in uploading it. I am very happy to be able to join this hive blog, to get to know great people, share experiences, knowledge and know how to deal with the digital world as it is today. Now in my post this time I will try to share the experience of traveling or climbing a mountain in Aceh, precisely in Bener Meriah Regency, the name of this mountain is Mount Burni Telong, one of the mountains that is still active and a climbing spot for nature lovers. It's no secret that Aceh's natural beauty is truly extraordinary.
In the province nicknamed the Veranda of Mecca, it offers you many tourist attractions with different charms and characteristics.
Mount Burni Telong is a favorite destination for nature lovers and tourists who are very fond of mountain climbing.
Geographically, the location of Mount Burni Telong is in Bener Meriah district, Aceh province. The distance between the foot of the mountain from the intersection of three Reselong is approximately 16 km which can be traveled for 30 minutes. This point is located in Bandar Lampahan, Rembune Village which is a favorite start for climbing on the mountain. You must know that climbers on Mount Burni Telong are also the target of climbers from outside the city such as Takengon, Lhokseumawe, Bireun, Medan and Banda Aceh. The Mount Burni Telong climbing post was built in Rembune village and managed by the local community. So, here I explain a little about the Mount Burni Telong track.
For the first track, we have to pass through the residents' plantations for about 200 meters, arrive at the first shelter, continue for another 100 meters through a new hill until we reach the 2nd shelter, continue for another 168 meters until we reach the third shelter, because Burni Telong has 3 shelter routes. climbing, but I'm very sorry for not being able to complete the picture per shelter. So when we arrived at the third shelter, that's where we set up a tent or tent. I will explain below along with a photo of what is in the tent.
Arriving at the third shelter, right under the mountain, it was perfect for setting up a tent because the ground was very flat and there was a lot of wood for a bonfire, we brought cooking utensils, such as stoves, food for breakfast, and of course water for various purposes.
Evening arrived we sat down to enjoy coffee and some snacks and were warmed by the campfire, we had to sleep early to prepare our energy for the next track, because we had to get up before dawn.
This is the track that we have to take, the hills and lots of rocks, the point is very extreme. and it turns out that in the hills there is a gu, I explain below.
Arriving at the cave we took a short break while waiting for friends who had not yet arrived at the cave, the cave was just below the peak, a cave with very large rocks. and there are so many edelweiss flowers but unfortunately they haven't bloomed yet, below I will show you a picture of edelweiss flowers and I will explain.
This flower with the Latin name Anaphalis Jabanica grows a lot in the mountains of Indonesia, one of which is Mount Burni Telong. Edelweiss flowers are so beautiful, that it invites the desire of many climbers to pick them and take them home, but unfortunately when we climbed it turned out that the flowers were not in bloom yet.
However, the activity of picking Edelweiss flowers is strictly prohibited in climbing activities, mountaineering managers even apply strict sanctions for those who are determined to do so.
One of them is the Mountain Basecamp which requires climbers to pay 100 times if they are caught destroying plants (picking eselweiss) during the climb.
and the last one is the highlight, which is eagerly awaited.
the last one is the peak, Mount Burni Telong has .2,600 meters above sea level, Mount Burni Telong is included in the top 10 highest mountains in the province of Aceh. In Indonesian, the name of this mountain can be interpreted as a burning mountain. It is not strange, considering that this mountain is an active volcano.
Mount Burni Telong has a height of 2670 meters above sea level, with very extreme tarcking, when we got there, it was still said that it was dark the timing was perfect because the weather was good and the morning sun was very beautiful.
This is a little story from me, hopefully it will please all of you, I will promise that in the future I will make a very detailed post.
so beautiful. tks for share
