Ibiza is a very rare island where very special people live and create beautiful things. Hippie markets are places where these wonderful people go to share their creativity with people from other parts of the world.
One of the most famous and largest Hippie Markets is the “Hippie Market Punta Arabí” on the east side of the island. It is open every Wednesday between 10:00 and 18:00 during the tourism season, which is usually from the beginning of April to the end of September or the end of October, depending on the weather.
The small town of Punta Arabí can be reached by taxi, car, motorbike or even bicycle, or you can catch a bus line from Santa Eularia to Es Canar, from which the Hippie Market is about ten minutes walk.

This is one of the most famous stars of this event. This gentleman has been in the same place every Wednesday for years. He sits without moving, in the lotus position all day and tourists can take pictures with him and then get a small piece of paper with a mantra written in Sanskrit and English.
This is a very special lady with a unique shop and handmade bio veggie cookies whose taste I can still feel in my mouth or even in my heart when I close my eyes and remember this moment.
What kind of people live on this magical island can be seen from their works and creativity.

The small pets of the inhabitants of Ibiza are also part of the hippie culture. Meet the hippie dog!
On a futuristic island like Ibiza, it is not surprising that it is possible to pay even with cryptocurrency!
And if you want to enjoy in good music or take a break from shopping, I recommend you to visit the hippie tent of a thousand colors and flowers and listen to one of the authentic hippie bands, to try one of the three homemade bio hippie beers and then to express your dancing talent on the hippie-floor 😉

I have never been to Ibiza and I was under the impression that it is an island for the world jet set filled with nightclubs and wild nightlife. So your post took me totally by surprise! It is more than obvious that it has aspects I have never heard of :)

This is the south side of the island, fancy clubs and parties. The north and east of Ibiza has that “ Spirit” I was writing about. Last summer I went to Ibiza and I stayed there for 4 mounts. My experiences about this magical island are completely different , Ibiza is much more then just a party place.
I'm glad you liked my little presentation, now I'm even more motivated to write about my magical experiences on the white island, they are really unique.
