We just got back from another trip to Bangkok, Thailand a few days ago to attend a rock concert and it was so much fun. I haven't even finished posting other pics from our previous Bangkok trip months ago yet here we go again. XD It was just all of a sudden that my favorite band announced they were having an Asia tour the moment we got back to our country months ago and I really had to go to this concert. Anyway...
This time we didn't really visit a lot since the time between two trips to the city was not long so we were still kinda not in the mood lol. We did visit a few parks though to burn those calories and one of them was Queen Sirikit Park.
This park was right beside the big Chatuchak park and since they were just across the street we decided to come in. At first we were really confused wtf was happening since the gate where we entered I could bet was not the "main gate" and just one of the many gates of this park. It was situated in a weird place since it was really forest-y and was really dark there lol.
A few walks and we finally got to see the light. This part of the park looks like it's in its very early stage and still under construction.

This time I brought with me my 80mm macro lens since I was expecting to get to visit the Butterfly museum and take some macro butterfly pics but we went on Monday and great timing since apparently they're closed on Mondays... XD
Weird-looking slide... I mean of course it is still under construction but even if they finish this I think it's still too steep and scary, and I don't know how to make the landing better lol.
A few walks and we came across this scarecrow that has a shirt that says "I'm too epic to fail".
A Thai park is not really a park if there's no monitor lizards on sight.
We were still in a weird part of the park that it feels like something's missing. We looked at the map and saw we were still at the edge of the park. Not even on the half of it yet.
We walked a few more and finally saw the main attraction which was the spiral thing of the park. You can see it on the map that there's like a spiral-looking water/lake and I can understand it now.

This was such a lovely sight. It's so peaceful and really nice to look at. For any parks named after Kings or Queens it is expected to be really beautiful.
The reflection of the trees on the water is just stunning. Especially they have the yellow trees there, making them stand out instead of just seeing all green trees.
There's a monitor lizard just swimming and he looks really chill lol.
We also saw a turtle swimming in the lake!! It was such a surprise cos it's usually just lizards or fishes lol. It's so cute when it swims. It stuck its head out quite a few times like it's waiting for food from us or something.
Since I have an 80mm lens on a crop sensor camera, I can't really take photos in a wide angle. But I can take pics of people sneakily. :D I'm bad at explaining things but basically my 80mm lens is so zoomed in that I have to be really far from the subject to be able to take photos of them nicely, that's why I can't take pic of the whole scenery since like I said it's too zoomed in lol.

It was such a delight to see these stepping stones. Kinda feels like you're gonna dip your feet if you're clumsy enough. :P
...and some of @acidyo's shots of me. :D
Queen Sirikit Park is such a beautiful park and really worth a visit. If you're planning to go there though, prepare yourself for a lot of walking and maybe a lot of confusion since this park is like a maze. :P We haven't even walked through the whole park, we just left cos we were already tired since we also walked at Chatuchak before coming here.
It's such a beautiful and serene park.
I love travelling too, it's always good to spend the leisure at interesting places like this.
I agree!
In one word a wonderful place and the atmosphere of the place is really nice. The pleasure of visiting such a place will be different. Such a scarecrow uses it in the fields to protect the crop fields from various animals in our region.
There were less people than the other park as well, was really a nice walk :D
Queen Sirikit Park in Thailand is indeed so beautiful. Now I realize that it is not a park without the monitor lizards. Heheh. How cute those that are in the water seemed to look at you and the view even made more beautiful with you as the model. I wish to explore there one day! Best regards sis.
Very beautiful! Even though some parts are still in progress. :D Thank you! You take care ;D
I've always loved it. to see this city. Thank you very much for sharing these beautiful unique moments with us.
it is so good to see, crediting the photographer in some of the shots.. :) so much to take away for the user to give due credit of the images using their blogs. ....its pretty good to have such powerful lenses...you can get so many close ups sitting far away
I think crediting them in a photography post is important. Yeah the telephoto lens was really nice except it's also long and big that it attracts people's attention like I'm screaming I HAVE A CAMERA all the time😭😂 which was the opposite of what I wanted
Attention seeker ! May be sometimes it is comfotable to carry too..but what it can do no one else can
Very much attention seeker. I wanted to take photos of people on the streets without them knowing which is why I took the big lens with me but it didn't go well haha. The smaller one (wide) was still the best so far.
Yes sometimes it feels awkward when people find someone snapping them....
This park looks so peaceful.
It is. Maybe it the climate was colder it would have been really perfect.
The park is also very good, there is a calm atmosphere. You have photographed very well, the view there is worth seeing.
Indeed it was very calm :D thank you
I like turtles
You spelled tiddies wrong
