Hello and welcome to this new post!
Welcome to the beautiful city of El Hajeb! Today, I’m going to share with you my pleasant walk through this city that combines natural beauty with a rich history. I took many photos that I will share with you so that you can experience this unique adventure with me.
I began my journey from the bus station in Meknès, and now here I am on bus number 16 heading towards the city of El Hajeb, located about 30 kilometers from Meknès.
The bus was comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere inside was calm and soothing, which made for a perfect start to the trip. I am excited to discover more of the beauty of El Hajeb and to share this wonderful experience with you.
We arrived at the last roundabout in the city of Meknès, and this is where our journey south towards El Hajeb begins.
Here I am, arriving in the city of El Hajeb, getting off the bus near this magnificent landscape.
The scenery here is stunning, with carefully landscaped green spaces and a variety of trees, including palm trees. Fortunately for me, the weather today is beautiful, with a clear sky and a few light white clouds. Just next to me is a recreational park.
This place is perfect to start exploring El Hajeb. My first destination will be the Aïn Khadem spring, one of the most beautiful and famous sites in the city.
After arriving in El Hajeb, I began to walk along this peaceful path leading to Aïn Khadem. The path is lined with trees on either side, casting their shadows on the road and creating a refreshing and pleasant atmosphere.
This path provides a lovely introduction to the beauty of Aïn Khadem, where one can enjoy nature and tranquility.
Aïn Khadem is a natural water spring considered one of the most important natural resources in the region. The fresh water that springs from the source attracts both locals and visitors. People come here to enjoy the natural landscapes and fresh air.
From the city center of El Hajeb, it only takes a short walk to reach this beautiful place. Aïn Khadem is located in an area surrounded by greenery and trees, with a pleasant and refreshing atmosphere. No need for a car; a simple walk is enough to enjoy the journey and have an enriching experience.
There are so many activities to do here! You can walk, sit down, read a book, take beautiful photos of nature, or even have a picnic with friends or family. It’s the perfect place to escape the daily stress and enjoy special moments. Plus, you can drink directly from the spring water, renowned for its purity and quality.
Personally, I always love coming to Aïn Khadem because this place exudes a unique positive energy. The last time I visited, I read an entire book under a tree, with a refreshing breeze and calming tranquility around me. It was truly a unique experience, and I highly recommend anyone visiting El Hajeb to discover Aïn Khadem.
Here’s a magnificent panoramic view of Aïn Khadem that I took while leaving this beautiful natural water source. Now, I will head towards the city center, located on a hill, to take some beautiful photos.
One of the highlights of my visit was the historic wall of Moulay Ismaïl (frankly, this is the first time I've known that the historic walls of Moulay Ismail are not only to be found in the city of Meknes, but also in this beautiful little town of El hajeb).
This majestic, long wall is built of ancient stone that bears the marks of time. It bears witness to a pivotal period in the city's history. Walking along its ramparts, I could almost feel the echoes of the past echoing in the air.
After my walk in the heart of the city of El Hajeb, filled with natural landscapes and splendid views, I decided to settle in this charming, cozy café to enjoy a cup of coffee.
The café is situated in a beautiful outdoor space. The ground is covered with green grass scattered with a few fallen leaves. The place radiates calm and serenity, perfect for enjoying a coffee while recharging after a long walk. This break was ideal for recharging and appreciating the beauty of the surrounding nature.
After resting in this lovely café, I decided to walk a little along a street leading out of the city.
The street is charming and peaceful, lined with trees. The path is adorned with green grass and trees on both sides, creating a shaded area where natural sunlight filters through the leaves. The place resembles a park or a green urban area, providing a pleasant and relaxing environment for a stroll.
Upon reaching the exit of the city, I found these beautiful camels. As I approached them, they looked at me with an innocent and charming expression.
The camels stood on sandy ground, surrounded by a few green trees and plants. They were well cared for and arranged neatly, gazing at me as if they were wondering why I was visiting, lol.
These camels embody the beauty of the countryside and the rural nature surrounding the city of El Hajeb. Meeting these creatures was an enriching experience that added even more charm to my stroll.
We have reached the end of this post and our pleasant walk in the city of El Hajeb. I hope you enjoyed discovering new fascinating aspects of this beautiful city. Thank you for reading and for accompanying me on this wonderful journey. Take care and see you soon for new adventures!
