RE: Mother Dhari Devi is the protector of Uttarakhand, she changes her form 3 times a day (India)

I am also leaving no stone unturned to ensure that I am included in TravelDigest. It is very cold here, the temperature has started going down to -12 degrees at night. Thankfully, the sun came out today in the afternoon which warmed up the mountains a bit, which was badly needed.

India and above all the Himalayas are a hub of mythological stories. The taste of water changes at every step here, the language changes, there are so many religious places here and each one has a mythological story attached to it. I like listening to these stories. I like that you live in a corner of the world and you respect culture. Now whether I come in the top 10 or not, but I enjoyed this WinterChallenge a lot.

Haha, I can see that @himalayanwomb. Wow, that sounds very cold. I hope you have enough things with you to stay warm and don´t get sick.

It's awesome to hear about the stories. That in combination with the people and the landscape must be very special. In my opinion, if you are a true traveler it is essential to respect the culture and get in touch with the people and the mentality /the language to truly get to know the place. It is part of the discovery and makes you grow as a person with every step that you are going. - You are on a journey in many ways. - As a nomad soul and also a yoga teacher I do respect and understand that. That is also why I love to learn so many languages on my way. - in the local language you learn so much more :)

I love joining you on your journey. Keep it up! - Today I saw you made it up to Top 4 even!

It makes me feel great to know about people like you in other corners of the world. Progressive people who see humanity through the eyes of nature and who make the environment around them pleasant.

While traveling in the Himalayas, I have seen how people, languages, rocks, sunsets, birds, mountains and squirrels have hopped and stood in front of the mirror of life and taught us how to be worthy of our culture, religion and society.

Through hive, we have become a part of such a journey where we will never get tired of walking, rather there is only happiness and satisfaction on this journey. haha I am happy to come in fourth place and remember my travels.

Happy to hear that @himalayanwomb! I like to think that there are many people like us around the globe. It's just not very common that they post about it as we do. Most of the people posting are not very respectful or deep I feel.. 🤷‍♀️ I am sure you have seen many of those things there, i imagine it as a magical place where time seems to stop a little bit and people are not trapped in the first world problems so much, thinking about deeper things. How can it be any different with so much pure nature around? What a great place to be. 😍 - Thanks for bringing some of it to us.

Yeah, I love the community sense of the Hive. Its great to feel the spirit in communities like ours or at Hivefest. Very different and nice. - 2 more days to go 🐝👍
