Visited Baijnath Temple (Himachal Pradesh, India)

BSNL was struck by lightning in June. On the modem. Actually, it had fallen many times before and every time lightning had incinerated someone or the other. Among all the electronic gadgets in the house, his favorite one was B.S.N.L. I don't know how many times the modem was connected to the power supply and it started smoking.

I still remember that day, it was Saturday 16th June when lightning set the modem light on fire. I was in the other room, Googling on Nitin's 09 year old 'Dell' laptop (senior citizen) that "How to earn money from Hindi blogging?", when suddenly there was a bright light from the other room along with the sound of chatter. The eyes were dazzled…it felt as if “Jesus has come”.

When I ran and looked in the room outside, I realized that it was not Jesus but lightning that had burnt the back side of the modem to ashes. Poor Modem was counting his last breaths. So this was the incident due to which I had to come to Baijnath. Not to get it repaired but to pay the bill for the dead body.

B.S.N.L. from June to December. He kept sending the bill every month with utmost care and we kept ignoring it every time. Chilli started when B.S.N.L. Notice was sent by the court. Result of not paying the bill is Rs 3988. And if it is not paid now then death sentence will be given.

After soaking a bucket of clothes, caught the bus from Beed to Baijnath and reached the place where every Indian wants to get a job but no one wants to go, 'Government Office'. Contrary to expectations, the short statured uncle immediately deposited the bill and also accepted the application for disconnection. BSNL stuck everywhere. The K sticker cleared my doubt that “I am in the right office and this is the guy whom the world counts among the 1% out of 100% who work”. It was strange that I was considering myself lucky to meet the 1%.

We took back Nitin's 14 year old Activa from the world famous "The Only Mrinal" (it would be better if I don't write about Mrinal) and went straight to the parking lot of Baijnath Temple. There were clouds and my intentions were not good today. You know what to do...I will reveal it a little later. Let's first visit the Baijnath temple.

Leave the Activa, which has spent 14 years in exile, in the parking lot and move forward in the shoes of an earthworm. Just thought why this boy has everything so old, 7 year old camera, 14 year old Activa, and 9 year old laptop. Sometimes it seems that it may also have a color photo of the real Sai Baba.

So sir, among the 12 Jyotirlingas, Baijnath is also one Jyotirlinga, if the people of Himachal and many other people are to be believed. By the way, there is a Jyotirlinga named Sam in Jharkhand also. You can Google more information about this Jyotirlinga of Himachal.

This temple belongs to the thirteenth century and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will see the Dhauladhar range in the background of the temple. Nowadays, due to snowfall, Dhauladhar has become 'vanilla-ice cream'. From here you can see Utrala, Jalsu, Billing, Sherabilling Monastery, Talang Pass, Toral Pass, Waru Pass, and perhaps even the Matterhorn Peak. So today after many years I stepped into this temple, the proof of which is below.

After spending some time in the temple, I finally fulfilled my good intention by spending Rs 25. I have been living in Beed for a long time but this month I have developed the habit of junk food. There is a shop in front of Baijnath bus stand where excellent plates of samosas and tikkis are available, for me it is no less than drugs. Don't remember the name of that angel who makes such a combination of curd with red and green chutney that with every spoon, 10 new drops of blood start forming inside you. After eating one plate, got one packed for Nitin. After all, I am not the only one who is addicted to this drug.

Recently someone asked, “Why don’t you write?”
Saying “I don't have time”, I used my common weapon.
“Then just post the photo so that at least you can be seen”, someone said in an intoxicating voice.
“Hmm, whenever I feel like it, I will definitely write and upload the photo also”, saying this, I moved my tongue on the red chutney on my lips and believe me, this feeling was “like watching myself melt”.
