Some sculptures and geopark with information about the oldest rocks in Norway.
Activity center Høyt & Lavt
After having our food we visited Høyt & Lavt activity center. They closed early in the afternoon as October is low season. But they said we can walk around and see the place. I had heard lots about this place but had never been here so I wanted to take the opportunity.
Høyt og Lavt which means High and Low has 18 different locations in Norway. The Norwegians love nature and these climbing parks are therefore built into the forest and terrain.
Many locals and tourist families and groups come to Kjærra fossenpark to enjoy this activity center in addition to the river.
Unfortunately, everything was closed and nobody was climbing anywhere. So I gave it a try on an easy section mostly for the younger children
now that i have seen them I can imagine how challenging and complicated they are. and thought I should experience it in the summer.
This is the way we ended our trip to Kjærra fossenpark but we plan to come back in the winter to see the river and falls with ice and snow and again in the summer to see the fishing and the climbing.
The autumn fills its color in nature. Soon it will all be white as
nature ushers in winter.

This place is located in Larvik county in southeast Norway. Very popular for salmon fishing in the traditional way, summertime is good with long sunny days, and camping opportunities. children, as well as adults, can have physical activities, culture, and geopark surrounded by nature. In winter time it's great for cross-country skiing and winter activities.
In one sentence, a wonderful place for family and friends to enjoy an outing in nature
