Hello, dear friends, great travelers, and community! Happy holidays to you all. Today, I want to introduce you to an extraordinary destination: Arwali Beach, located in southwest India. The beach stretches from Redi Fort to the north end of Arvali, Sagartirth, featuring smooth white sand that truly makes it a remarkable spot. The water is clean, and at the end of Arwali Beach, backwaters from the Mochemad River meet the sea, across the river the beach continues but is called Mochemad Beach.
the southern section of Arwali Beach is under development for tourism and remains a busy destination. But we are at the northern end. To reach it, you’ll need to drive along some undeveloped roads, which may not be very impressive for tourists. However, this section of the beach is kept in it\s natural state, incredibly smooth and stunning.
the beach is full of different patterns made by waves and wind as well as sea shells, crabs, insects and more. I always think of it as our pattern beach. the patterns are most prevalent around low tide.
These patterns are amazing. not just on sand but all around the beach the wood, rocks, the grass have a nice natural appearance of patterns.
after parking, we have to walk about 0.5 kilometers to reach the beach.
Screw pine, locally known as Kewara (Pandanus odoratissimus), is a showy tropical plant that grows wild here. The flowers of the Pandanus have a very strong and pleasant aroma. It's used commercially to produce essence and scents.
Observing around we are already at the beach.
the sea grass is very sharp when dried. it grows in beach sand
different angle and light those sandy patterns look different.
The sand and the wind make this nice art. and effects from natural evening lights make it even more beautiful.
This side of the beach is quiet. We can see only a few locals walking and children playing. this is almost an everyday show with the golden sunshine reflecting in the sea making the water golden.
From a long distance, I saw some animal figures in the sand but as I came closer they turned out to be bamboo.
It was a funny figure.
Sun is almost setting.
This sand is a mixture of grainy stone and sea shells.
It is not only nature that makes patterns But people walking or driving vehicles also makes nice patterns.
some insects made this pattern.
This is not a flower It is the grass that is nicely shaped like a flower.
Why I said this beach is extraordinary: now you must realize that the sunset is quiet, peaceful, and helps the mind calm down very easily.
Other side riverside.
A lone sea shell like in a deep trance.
closer to the river the water is more greenish.
the sand looks like a map.
and the rock also.
the surroundings are beautiful and each moment of the sunset is also romantic. even the wavy sand shines.
I don't want to miss a minute of the sunset.
New pattern
Nice rock with natural sculpture. each time it has different looks.
there are many of them, that look like all over some display of sculptural art.
for this art, the crabs are the artist.
Sun is almost in the water,
Thank you for the day Sun.
on the way back the kewara looks like this in the low-light shot.
thank you.
