RE: Pisgah National Forest Park, NC (Waterfalls, Breweries and Hiking in the Mountains)

God, you guys really went hardcore on this one, but it looks totally worth it. That view's stunning (All of them are, but I mean the mountain range on the first day, in particular). It looks very freeing, the whole journey. And you're looking like quite the badass, my friend ;)

Glad you got a chance to recharge and rebalance out there...and that it made its way unto Hive. Those are some cool pics.

Hahaha! Thanks! We felt pretty badass on the first day…but like broken old men after that 🤣

This was my second time in this mountain range, but the first time I just rode the winding parkway on a Harley…honestly, both are great - but I prefer walking while I still can :)

I used the 0.5x zoom for a lot of these shots, and even then it really just can’t capture the magnitude of the scene. I’m really thrilled when I can capture a shot that comes close lol - my favorite means this time was to take short videos and make them into gifs; I feel like the additional movement helps give some perspective.

Thank you for checking it out! This was a super fun weekend, I can’t wait to do it again. Hopefully soon I would also like to get my wife and kids to come check it out. My little girls are pretty savage, I think they’ll be rippin’ it up in those cold waterfalls with me :)

100%. That's a solid way to go about it. Also, by this, I take it to mean you're planning on riding the mountains on a Harley when you're old? Not a bad way to spend old age, if you ask me.

yeah, the motion definitely gives more perspective, I know what you mean. There's nothing quite like being there yourself and doing that 180.

Hopefully soon I would also like to get my wife and kids to come check it out.

Man, that sounds like a fun family time, especially with all that stupendous surrounding nature! :)

Yeah, I’ve got to find a way to get them out there, it’s too much fun!
