Hi, there Beautiful People!
Hope you are all doing great today!
This is my second time here in this community #Haveyoubeenhere and as promised, sharing with you all my cycling adventures while I am still in Singapore. This time is from East Coast to Gardens by the Bay.
Let's go!
If you happen to stumble on its part one of my cycling adventure in Singapore, thank you so much for watching it.
This time, my friend Myla and I decided to go to the other side of the East Coast Park, called AREA A Cycling Path. It is also the way heading towards Marina Bay. From the left side, you will see the Bay East Garden Visitor Centre which is currently closed due to a pandemic so we were not able to stop and have a look inside its building.
As we continue our journey, we saw this big tree along the side of Benjamin Sheares Bridge. What a beautiful sight!
I was a bit tired already when I reached this area but because of my determination to atleast see the panoramic view of MBS, we decided to move forward.
It was already 12 noon and my tummy is making noise already. Oh, by the way, for some of you who are not yet aware, if you are in Singapore, you'll notice people walk, run, jog and drive, always on the left side, so don't mess it up with our Philippine practice because, I, for one had a hard time getting used at it when I arrived in Singapore eleven years ago.
A few meters away, I was able to spot a very nice view and asked my friend to take a photo and video of me. This is where you can really have a panoramic view of the Marina Bay Sands. So I advised you, don't waste your time by not making a film in this area.
When we reached this location, we decided to turn back to return the rented bike and find an SG bike instead before continuing our journey to the MBS side.
During our lunch break, I charged up the battery of my phone and forgot to take a photo of what we had eaten.
After eating, we manage to find an SG Mobile Bike. Only that, it took me some time to download the App so I can use it.
When we spotted the same place where we left off before lunch, I decided to turn on my phone again to continue filming my exploration.
Since my energy has been refueled by Char Keuy Teow that I ordered for lunch, I reached the road to the Flood Gate without any injuries.
Please stay tuned for my Marina Barrage Vlog because I actually returned to that place the following day to meet up with my very good friend @paulajoalix. Meanwhile, we were so excited to go to the MBS area.
When reaching Gardens by the Bay, the Cloud Forest will welcome you.
Then we head straight to The Canopy .
Look! SG mobile bike parking space, yay!
Just beside The Canopy is the Flower Dome. Sorry guys we weren't able to go inside that time - it was CLOSED that time.
Alright, so we continue the cycle, and viola! Look at this amazing structure! One of a kind truly mesmerized me every time I got a chance to see this place.
Nice huh!
Okay, so this time, I am not sure where my friend Myla will bring me and because she cycle fast, I have no choice but to just follow her. Haha!
We pass through the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, (the one I show you with the big tree, remember?) This is the link to ECP.
Then, the second bridge is the linkway to Bayfront Avenue. Whew! So many bridges!
And then the popular Helix Bridge. A stainless bridge that lights up in the night. So nice to take a photo in the evening!
I thought I can take a picture of the Helix Bridge but I ain't got enough time because I was wondering where exactly we are going, hahaha!
I shake off and continue to cycle.
Then I realized we are actually at MBS already because I can see the Louis Vuitton building on the right! Never got the chance to buy a bag even a small one, Hahaha! But, it's alright.
What an amazing experience. We cycle from 9am to 2pm. Burnt a lot of calories.
Of my ten years in Singapore, it was my very first time cycling around this place because I was too focused on my job and couldn't get enough time to do this. So I made sure that before leaving Singapore I have to and must do this.
I really had fun and if given the chance again, will do this the next time around.
Grateful to my friend, Myla for showing me around.
The next place I want to share with you all is our exploration at Marina Barrage Singapore.
