Hello, Hivers and Travelers!
Today, I invite you to join me on the continuation of our visit to the many great landmarks of the world's famous cities. I have written part 1 of the tour HERE.
Previously, we visited the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. From there, we are now heading to the US. And the first stop is New York City's Liberty Island where the Statue of Liberty stands proud and tall!
And of course, it wouldn't be complete without checking the skyscrapers of Manhattan.
And when so inclined, one can spend some time boating around the beautiful and picturesque mini island. We had to skip it though for time was not in our favor during the visit.
The water flows around and goes all the way to the Easter Island of Chile so boating can be enjoyed there too. Seen below are a couple of the Moai heads.
Other landmarks we have seen in the US area were the Jefferson Memorial (below), the Whitehouse, Lincoln Memorial, National Mall and Mount Rushmore.
Looking up and around the island, we also got our eyes on Brazil's iconic statue of "Christ the Redeemer" of Rio de Janeiro.
After a short break, we made a quick visit to the Grand Canyon where the weather was gorgeous. We caught up with some Chinese families enjoying the atmosphere, one woman even took her chance for a bite while seated at the rock :)
We then found our way to the Canadian Falls where it was quite gloomy and misty, hence the water splatters on the camera lens :)
And from there, we went to Egypt for the Pyramids! And guess what, the rain came along!
Kidding aside, this photo was taken on a different day while visiting the place with the farm boy and the rain poured generously.
This, on the other hand, was when I went with my friend, Jeoff and the weather was really nice. Look at the Sphinx!
Seen on the inside are these colorful and artistically-designed coffins and human wax figures. There were also paintings which unfortunately, were not clear enough to be included here.
It didn't feel eerie at all while down there. Although the air was quite musty, probably due to lack of ventilation.
And we also got mesmerized by these traditional African houses too! It must be very warm inside those beautiful huts!
Next, we found ourselves transported to Asia and Thailand's Grand Palace was first to see. I particularly liked the colors and the details they put on with this. Someone's back must have hurt a lot after getting these done :)
Following Thailand was the miniature of the Imperial Palace of Japan. History puts it that the real one has been home to Japan's imperial family since 1868.
Kyongbokkung Palace in Korea came next. Although these are tiny replicas compared to others around, I believe they were made down to the last details.
The following were also seen within the proximity of the palaces.
The Anchor Wat of Cambodia
The Minaret of the Great Mosque of Samarra, Kuwait Tower, and the Taj Mahal.
The Hagia Sophia of Istanbul
And many other Asian landmarks like the Bhaja and Karla caves, Borobudur of Indonesia, Persepolis, Hakim Mosque, Ishtar Gate, The Torii, Potungmon etcetera. Time was not just enough and one would need about two days to be able to fully enjoy the whole of the place.
We were quite exhausted so we decided to have a break and took time to enjoy the greeneries as we slowly walked around.
And let me leave you with this man-made lake which gave the surroundings its park feels. The perfectly-trimmed green bushes made the garden even more lush and very calming.
Nice tour around the world! !GIF world

Yes it was. Thank you :)
It must be fun to visit all those landmarks in one place. I hope you can visit the originals one day, at least the ones you have on your wish list. Cheers, sis!
Yes, but it would be better to see the originals and hoping to be able to do that one day :) Cheers!
Wow, that is one massive park, fascinating how a destination could fit all of these miniature iconic landmarks.
Haha, yes :) We actually didn't get to see all of it in just one day :)
Qué lugares tan bellos..!! A mí me gustaría visitar Machupichu.!
Thank you, it is a place full of wonders indeed. I do believe you can :)

That looks like a fun place :) Is it as big as it looks?
Yes, fun place indeed :) It's a very large theme park about 70hectares. Most of the structures are big (building-like big). Just the palaces of Korea, Thailand, and Japan are miniatures (probably around 5feet above)
It would be a little difficult to recreate the palaces and Grand Canyon in their real scale! They put a lot of thought into the place ❤️
Do they charge admission?
!PIZZA !ALIVE
That's right, it is astonishing that they have made such a vast collection of many of the world's greatest landmarks. There is an admission fee which is affordable (about USD15-35 each person)
It looks to be worth it :) Does that include the boat ride?
It is very worth it :) No, excluding any boat ride :)

Wow, I love these kinds of structures. They are so cute.
Thank you :) They are a lot hehe. Although most are huge structures, except for some Asian palaces which were miniatures :)
You're welcome (^_^)
