Fully organic vegetarian food in a small Himalayan village

in Worldmappin5 months ago

Yeaterday I went to another waterfall in Manali called “Jana” waterfall. It is around 1 and a half hours drive on Naggar road from Manali.

This waterfall is not bigger like Jogini waterfall but it is good place to hangout. If you are going with family or friends. It is better to visit on a sunny day so that you can sit next to the waterfall and enjoy the cold drops of water which will refresh you.

This waterfall was hidden until instagram reels came and someone went to this place and had some food in a “dhaba” (small cafe). That reel went viral and more people started visiting the place. So basically there are a couple of famous dhabas now where they serve totally organic food which is not commonly available and it is the food that people used to eat there. It is the traditional food of Himachal or you can say the people living on the mountains.

I ordered one “Thali” (plate). And I got so many dishes served in it. All of it is grown by themselves without using any chemicals. It was so delicious and I really enjoyed the food. It cost me ₹200 which is around $2.4 and trust me you will not regret spending those $2.4 for this amazing food.

check out these beautiful pictures and let me know if you liked it or not 🙏🏼😊

Namaste!
