India is famous for its veriety of cultures and we celebrate so many different festivals and such is a festival called Karwachauth. A festival for the merried couples. As I walked across the market I could see the shops being decorated and the street was full of new shops specially opened for the festival shopping.
Married women fasts for the whole day for their husband as it is beleived if they do so their husband will live longer. And on this day both of the husband and wife fasts to show their love towards each other and break their fast when they see the moon at night. It is said that the ceremony will be completed only if you break the fast by looking at the moon and the husband and then the husband helps the wife to break her fast and gives her first bite of food. It is an interesting festival of love and a stronger bond between the couple.
As I walked more I saw the shephards coming back from the higher plains to the lowers lands as it is about to snow in the north and they have to take their sheeps to the lower land. They are really hardworking and they very well know how to control a huge group of sheeps.
They keeps walking all day and when they find a space where they can let their sheeps rest for a while and eat grass. I am so inspired by the shephards as they teach us how to be strong and face every challenges which comes their way.
Well, that is all in this blog and I hope you enjoyed.
Namaste!
