Hello everyone,
This is the fourth post in my travel series #DiscoverBangla on Hive. My post today is about the most famous places in Mujibnagar. Hope you like it.
Today in my post I will show the famous place of Mujibnagar which reminds people of 1971. Because there are things there that remind you of 1971. The day when the Pakistan invasion force committed atrocities on the innocent people of Bangladesh. How many mothers and sisters ruined their honor and raped them. How many raped his wife in front of her husband. How many fathers killed their children in front of them. Today I will talk to you about that and share with you some pictures I took of the place.
In the previous post we have finished the post of Ananya Park in Mujibnagar. Today we will go to the Mujibnagar sightseeing spot where we will remember how Pakistan invaded Bangladesh in 1971. When I went there, I remembered how many mothers and sisters had lost their dignity. When I went there, I remembered how many brothers and sisters were martyred. We will visit that place today. In fact, this is the most spectacular place inside Mujibnagar. After that I left Ananya park and entered through the sightseeing gate. The gate was very beautiful in Mujibnagar. In front of this gate there were some shopping shops and some hotels. I like it very much.
Then I entered Mujibnagar through this gate. When I entered, I saw that there was zero kilometers written on a pillar. This Mujibnagar area may have started from there. The road inside this Mujibnagar was very beautiful. There was a very beautiful environment, there were many flowering trees around and it seemed as if we were entering the whole nature. I took some pictures of myself there. It was winter when we went to Mujibnagar. Actually winter time is very beautiful. Because the time of rotation is the winter time. The sky was very beautiful that day. I like it very much. Hope you like it.
Then I go a little further and see a very big flower garden. There were some houses inside this garden. They wouldn't let us in there but I took some pictures from outside. Actually the entrance gate to this flower garden was a gate made of flowers which looked amazing. There were many types of flowers here. I took my picture here. Actually Ananya Park outside Mujibnagar was very beautiful and inside this place is very beautiful. There are flower gardens, many houses on the side and here we actually remember in 1971. It seems like that battle is happening right now. This place reminds us of many things. Yes it is correct that we were not born on that day or that day. But seeing these things, it seems as if that day is floating before our eyes.
Then we move a little further and see a house which was an office. Actually, I don't remember this office. what is the name But this office looked very nice. That day the nature was making this house very beautiful. I like it very much. There are many types of offices here. There are many things that are not allowed to be approached. Because these are government resources, if they are destroyed, the entire government will be responsible for them, so no one is allowed to enter here except VIP people. That's why there are so many places inside that we couldn't enter. We had to take pictures from outside.
Then I saw a school ahead. It is a government school located inside Mujibnagar Under. This school is from class one to class five as per my knowledge. This school caught our eye as we passed. There were students in the school on the day we visited. Because the school was open that day. Maybe some training was going on in front of the school. We stood and watched the tension for a long time. All the boys and girls were training there. I didn't know there would be a school inside Mujibnagar. There are many more things that I will show you later. A little in front of it was a very big flower garden. Where there were many types of flowers such as rose myrrh flower. But the place was very big and full of flowers. I like that place very much. But our general public is not allowed to enter here. But those who are VIPs and those in the know will be able to enter. Moreover, no one else can enter.
In front of this flower garden was a big Shapla flower. Actually the Shapla flower was man made. But the Shapla flower looked amazing. Just like the original flower. This Shapla flower was placed in a circle where it was watered and it looked amazing. I like it very much. I have taken some pictures of myself here as my memory and later we will see some of the most fascinating things that make this Mujibnagar famous.
Next we will look at those famous things. We first see a statue of a man giving a speech. This is Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation of Bangladesh. In whose speech the entire people of Bangladesh united and fought against the invading forces of Pakistan. For which this Bangladesh became independent. Which contributed a lot to Bangladesh. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman lived in a village called Tungipara in Bangladesh. When Pakistan invades our Bangladesh, when they kill the innocent people of Bangladesh, how many brothers, how many sisters, how many fathers, how many relatives they kill, how many mothers they lose the honor of which we got Bangladesh. Even after all the atrocities, the people of Bangladesh did not give up and then Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave a speech on 7th March that because of the speech, the entire people of Bangladesh united and fought against the invading forces of Pakistan. This speech was this time struggle for our freedom.
This struggle is our liberation struggle.
When I have given blood, I will give more blood, but I will release the people of Bengal, inshallah.
Because of this one speech the entire people of Bangladesh united and fought and our country became independent. The contribution of this Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to this Bangladesh is a lot. His contribution to making this Bangladesh independent is a lot. There are many more people who gave their lives to make Bangladesh free. There are many more people who made this Bangladesh free in return for their honor. But we forget that. But when we came to visit Mujibnagar, we remembered these words when we saw these things. Because of whom we got independent Bangladesh today
The statue that followed showed how the invading forces in Pakistan used to torture people, how they killed people. They used to kill those who did not listen to them by the invading forces of Pakistan. How many such people were killing the son in front of the father but the father could not do anything, the son and daughter were killing her husband in front of the mother, she could not say anything, they were helpless. These Pakistani invasion forces brutally oppressed the common people of Bangladesh. When the language movement of 1952 many people joined this language movement to protect the language of Bangladesh. But they were brutally killed by the invading forces of Pakistan. Because the Pakistani occupation forces wanted to promote the Bengali language. But the people of Bangladesh did not want it
We wanted our language to be with us. For which many people died in that language movement. We can understand by seeing these idols.
After that, if we look at the picture of the next statue, we can understand how many mothers and sisters made Bangladesh independent in exchange for her honor. How many mothers and sisters have been forced to assume their dignity has been destroyed. There are many cases of how many husbands in front of their wives are being force-raped by the invading forces in Pakistan and are losing their dignity. Pakistani invasion forces have destroyed the honor of innocent mothers and sisters of Bangladesh. Killed hundreds of mothers and sisters just to take this country as their own. Then the people of Bangladesh did not give up. They did not hand over this country to them. The honor of the mother and sisters has been destroyed, they have been killed, yet they stood strong, they did not hand over Bangladesh. They fought with them and declared this Bangladesh as an independent country. The invading forces of Pakistan used to torture the innocent people of Bangladesh at night. They used to attack the mothers and sisters of Bangladesh at night. They used to capture the mothers and sisters of Bangladesh and forcefully rape them and destroy their dignity. But the people of Bangladesh could not do anything. Because they had nothing but sticks in their hands, but the Pakistani invaders had many types of weapons, for which the people of Bangladesh could not do anything.
Because of which they tolerated everything with a closed mouth. Even after being tortured, they did not speak, they did not protest. But when he saw that it was too much, many people died, many mothers and sisters lost their honor, they were killed, they were raped. Then the father of the nation of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave a speech on March 7 that because of the language, the entire people of Bangladesh united and fought against them and made this country independent.
After that I went to see the statue next door. These idols were very beautiful to look at. Because of which I took a picture of myself with this statue. This statue means that in 1971, the Pakistani invaders burned the houses of innocent people in Bangladesh. They used to torture those innocent people in many ways. At that time, people were afraid to go out at night. Because at that time the Pakistani invasion forces were patrolling at night. If they saw anyone outside, they would capture him and kill him. Then people were very afraid that when the invading forces came to their home in Pakistan. People did not go out at night. Many mothers and sisters were raped by Pakistani occupation forces most of the night. In exchange for their honor, we are today in exchange for their blood. I got this independent Bangladesh. We forget them. But when I went to Mujibnagar, seeing those statues reminded me of what happened that day. Then the words floated in our mind that day when the Pakistan invasion forces mercilessly tortured people and killed them, how many mothers and sisters had lost their dignity. Hope you like it. After this post you will see again.
