Hi, Hivers. How are you guys doing so far? Rej here and I'm back again for another travel adventure here in Cebu, Philippines. As I age, I really wanted to spend my free time on adventures. I'm always excited to discover new places and meet different people from all walks of life.
As an Inspiring Cebuana B/Vlogger, it gives me so much joy every time I get the chance to share my experiences to everyone. Welcome to another adventure as I take you to this Spanish- Mediterranean inspired seaside resort in Catmon, Cebu, Philippines.
This Spanish- Mediterranean inspired resort that I am talking about is Huna- Huna Cliff Resort that is exactly located in Buyo, Binungkalan, Catmon, Cebu Philippines. This is approximately 2 hours away from Cebu City, Philippines.
📌 How to get here?
🚌 Via Commute: From the North Bus Terminal, take any bus going to Catmon. Just tell the bus attendant to drop you off at Huna Huna Resort in Buyo, Binungkalan Catmon, Cebu, Philippines . The resort is located just along the highway.
🚗 Via private car: If you’re bringing your own vehicle, just navigate with Waze or Google Map and search for Huna Huna Cliff Resort in Catmon, Cebu, Philippines. Parking space is available.
The entrance fee for day use is Php 150.00 per head. If you wish to stay overnight, they have 12 guest rooms available ranging from Php 2,000.00- Php 3,000.00.
With day use or overnight stay, you'll get to have an access to the swimming pool, seaside and the whole place. 🏊♂️
For day use, you could rent a cottage with the following rates:
5 persons up- Php 1,000.00
20-25 persons- Php 2,000.00
Day use is from 8:00 AM- 6:00 P.M. (Filipino time)

As soon as you arrive at Huna Huna resort, you will get to see this beautiful view inside that's surrounded with trees and plants. It really felt like you're one with nature. There's a parking space inside if you're bringing a vehicle with you. I went here with my good friend, Cristina and we were greeted with all smiles by their staffs and assisted us all the way to the parking area.
This is my good friend Cristina with her cute American Cocker Spaniel dog named Shadi. 🐶❤️ We took a photo after we parked here and waited for the staff's go signal for us to go down. Huna Huna resort is a pet-friendly place. As you enter, just tell the staff that you are bringing a dog with you just in case you have one. Huna Huna resort has also dogs there that they are taking care of.
This spot right here is what captured our eyes as soon as we enter the place. Before heading to the pool side and seaside, my friend and I took some snaps of this Instagrammable spot right here. I told my friend that if this is how beautiful the entrance is, then I'm pretty sure that there's more to it the moment that we will reach the cliff side. And true enough, as we continue taking some steps towards the cliff side, the view is just so incredible! Just WOW!❤️

The architectural concept of this place is just so great. Every corner of it is just picture worthy.
As we draw closer to the cliff side of this resort, we were stunned with this beautiful cottage right here wherein you could relax and chill with all those beautiful plants around. The air is so fresh as well.
The rooms and facilities at Huna Huna Cliff Resort are connected by walkways. There are a lot of plants and art pieces around.
Believe me when I tell you how beautiful the place is. The view, the ambience, everything is just so dreamy! As soon as we reached the cliff side, everything that comes out of our mouth were just appreciation of this resort. We really enjoyed taking a photo at the cliff side while listening to the waves. It gave us so much chills. For awhile, we were able to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and just simply be connected with nature.
We also had a great time striking a pose with Shadi. 🐶❤️ Ohhhh! Look at the cuteness of this dog. So adorable!🐶❤️
The view at the cliff side of Huna Huna resort is just so great. There are flags from different countries in each side. They even put a rainbow flag or pride flag to honor the LGBTQ+ community. The color of this flag reflects the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and the spectrum of human sexuality and gender.
Huna Huna Cliff resort offers a refreshing blend of excitement and relaxation. When we went here, it felt like the place was exclusive for us because of the best customer service that was given to us by their staff.
After having some time to explore the cliff side, we went to their restaurant to order some food.
Their restaurant is located on the left side of the entrance gate of this resort. Huna Huna Cliff Resort has a policy of no bringing of foods from the outside , but that's not a problem because they have a restaurant that you could buy food from. The only food that they would allow to bring inside with no corkage at all is the cake. We also brought one that time to celebrate the birthday of my friend's dog.
They serve Filipino dishes to American dishes and Indian food. You can either choose to dine at their restaurant or at the separate verandas outside where we took some beautiful photos.
We placed our orders and told the staff that we wanted to dine outside at the separate verandas with the cliff view. They prepared our food and we went back to the cliff side to just enjoy the view. I had a great conversation with my good friend Cristina while waiting for our food to be served.
We ordered Hawaiian pizza, pancit canton guisado, chicken soup, bread, banana split and some drinks. The food was just so great. That's 10/10 for us plus the customer service is a top tier.
As soon as our food was complete, we prayed together. After praying we sang a Birthday song to Shadi (my friend's dog). He just turned 2 years old this month and he is the cutest! 🐶❤️

Then, we started eating and just enjoy the place. It makes me really happy to travel again after working so hard for the past few days. It gave me a sense of fulfillment to finally take a break for awhile.
Before we decided to go down to check out the pool side and seaside area, we were chilling here for a bit and took more photos worth keeping. I am so blessed to have a friend like Cristina who supports me with the things that I wanted to do in life. I learned a lot from her and I considered our friendship as a blessing.
--- TIME TO EXPLORE THE POOL SIDE AND SEASIDE ---
With its marble tiles intricately put together recreates an atmosphere reminiscent of the Spanish- Mediterranean stone house. Every detail was properly executed which creates a more meaningful experience to every guest that would visit the place.
There are two comfort rooms in the pool side and this is one of it. They really preserved the natural stones and created something beautiful out of it. This is just so unique.
The infinity pool looks great most especially during night time wherein there are different kinds of lights installed that made it more stunning. What a beauty!😍
They also have a mini bar right here if you wish to have some alcoholic beverages while enjoying this incredible view!
My friend didn't want to go swimming that time because she just wanted to chill and enjoy the view. While here I am making most out of my time in the pool.😍 My friend, Cristina, said that she wanted to take photos of me while I'm having a great time swimming. So here I am and my different poses. 😅
We left the place with so much joy in our hearts! 😍 Indeed, Huna Huna Cliff resort is one of the hidden gems in the coastal area of Catmon, Cebu, Philippines waiting to be discovered. I highly suggest for you to add this majestic destination on your bucket list.😀
