Are you looking for a resort to stay in Oslob Cebu?

This place I will share with you is one of the best deal resorts in Oslob that you may consider. The facilities, restaurants, foods, and beach view are perfect for your accommodation in your Southern Cebu adventure.

This is Bangcogon Resort

It is a resort that offers fine accommodations and delightful food to every tourist visiting the Municipality of Oslob. It is a beachfront resort where you can chill, enjoy the view of the pristine beach, and scroll around the white sand area.

Its location is perfect for the nearby tourist attractions in Oslob Cebu. The resort is a docking area going to Sumilon Island that I shared with you last time it is just fifteen minutes away of riding a boat, actually, you can see the island from the beachfront of the resort. The place is also ten minutes away from the famous Oslob Whale Shark Watching where you can feed and dive with them. Another attraction is the Tumalog Falls which is fifteen minutes away from the Resort.

If you don't like roaming around and just want to chill in the resort, don't worry the beach area is all yours, you can just sit down and enjoy the pristine beach and the view of Sumilonn Island. If you feel like exploring the marine area around, they offer scuba diving, kayaking, and island exploration. Just inform the resort management to arrange the activities. It's moss season in the area, so you observe a lot of moose green pigments on the shoreline.

Barkada Room

A beachfront room that is perfect for group travelers has four bank beds, airconditioning, hot and cold showers, wifi, and beachfront access

Capacity - 8 person
Price - $95 per night

Family Room

Good for a family adventure, it has three queen-size beds and offers a stunning sea view. It also has air conditioning, a Private bathroom, wifi and a terrace.

Capacity - 6 persons
Price - $50 per night

Queen Room

the room has two queen-sized beds with a stunning sea view,a terrace, a private bathroom, and an air conditioning room.

Capacity - 4 persons
Price - $36 per night

Double Room

Good for small groups of travelers has two Twin Beds, a sea view, an air-conditioning room, a private bathroom

Capacity - 2 persons
Price - $50 per night

If you plan to add an extra bed, you just pay for $10 and they will get you one. All rooms has access to all common amenities of the resort and to their Restaurant.

Talking about the restaurant of the resort, they also serve food to other tourists from other accommodations. Just like us, we actually don't stay our night here at the resort but we have our breakfast here before we visit the Island of Sumilon. They have a nice dining area on the beachfront where we all eat and take our breakfast.

They offer a lot of variants of food, from seafood, soup, and mand eat, and for big group packages of food, they have it for all of you to offer. On the beachfront area, you will find their mini Bar where you can order some beverages, and have a chill moment in front of the sea. Prices are affordable and I think its worth it to try, especially the seafoods.

The view is superb, and having your food and coffee with this kind of view is the moment we are longing for in this travel. I order a Chicksilog for my breakfast and coffee to heat up my tummy, It's quite delightful and good food for the long adventure ahead. I take light heavy food cause I know it will consume a lot of energy roaming around the Island.

After I eat, I roam around the resort and find the place cozy and perfect for accommodation. If I will go back in the south of Cebu, this will be my first option for my homestay. For more information about the resort, you can visit this link.

On its area also is the orientation of tourist that will visit the Sumilon Island, you will also pay the environmental fee on the area. You will also find some souvenir shop in the resort.

How to reach the Resort?

If you booked accommodation directly from the resort, they offer a van pick-up service from the Airport to the resort. It only costs $110 for the service. However, if you like to take on a longer adventure, you can ride the bus at South Bus Terminal in Cebu going bound for Oslob, Travel time is 3-4 hours and the bus fare is $4 per head. Just inform the driver to drop you off at Bangogon Port and from then you reach this resort.

Travel Tip

Bring extra Money, ATMs in Oslob are limited and some of the activities you will experience are paid in cash.
Book in Advance, the resort's rooms fill up quickly, especially during peak season. Make sure to have an advance booking to reserve your room
Pack Essentials, Bring sun protection, extra clothes, towels, dry bags, and a waterproof phone case.
Observe Local Rules, respect the guidelines in the area, follow the rules, and respect the environment. Always mind your trash.
