Escape in the Beautiful Olango Island, Cebu Philippines ππ | #LakwatsaniIntoy Diary 005.
My recent blogs is all about Olango island, I want to say sorry for not bringing you in another place. But it cant help me to show you all the gems I found in this island. Olango island have a lot to offer. You will surely not regret once you visited the island. One of this gems I discovered is the Cumungi Island.
Cumungi Island
Cumungi is a privately owned island 15 KM from downtown of Cebu City, The island has remained isolated yet easily accessible eco-treasure fringed with virgin mangrove forests inside a protected wildlife sanctuary. Visit this link to see more and the overlooking view of the island.
During our stay at Blue-Bay-You beach resort. Me and together with my colleagues decided to roam around the bay and explore the nearby Islets.
This secluded island is visible in our eyes when we are were at the beach resort. Actually this is the reason why we decided to explore. The beauty of Cumungi Island attracted us to come over. Even though we know it is a private property we still went there to witness the beauty of the island.
We rented a boat for 30 pesos per head and it is back and fort fare already. This island is only 3 minuets away from BLUE-BAY-YOU beach resort. We are all excited and a little bit nervous, cause we know we have done an illegal thing this time π€£ π€£.
Upon stepping in the Island we saw clearly first the signages and warning signs. Our fear get higher when we read the inscribe message "This island is a private property, entering without notice to the owner is prohibited and will be persecuted". We hesitated first but we are bunch of crazy people, we still continued in exploring the island and didn't mind the signages π€£ π€£.
Our craziness took over the fear. We enjoyed a lot and forgot the bad things that may happened to us in the island. We stayed in a fine white sand under the mangrove forest. We feel relax and chill.
PHOTOSHOOT
Photoshoot is never absent in our travels. The amazing nature and mangrove forest of Cumungi Island became a studio of this aspirant models π€£. My colleagues are all game in this challenge. Who do you think will slay?

Good to know there are mangroves there protecting the island from floods and such. I wonder, are there also many fishes and other sea creatures there or no?
I also wonder who owns the island... haha.
Yes their is @artgirl, actually the area have a fish and Bird sanctuary. the place is also a stopping point of migratory birds. The island have a lot to offer that you surely love.
unfortunately I don't know who owned the island, and I don't want to know him cause I dont want to face the court room because of what we did π€£.
Wow that's great. Hehe. As for the island, yeah maybe better not know the owner. π
